About this deal

Update 1
Price Drop £35.42 - 01/04

A little cheaper than when I posted and bought it late last year, it is a great piece of cast iron, very hefty but plenty big enough for the 2 of us to have steaks in etc. Getting a lot of use out of it, the 10" one is good value at £31.18

Took about 10 days to get here, no extra duties and VAT to get here, this is the total price to pay, don't normally see Lodge 12" skillets at this price

  • Designed in collaboration with the hit Paramount show, Yellowstone. Steer skull design for collecting, gifting, and cooking.
  • Cast iron that’s been part of the authentic American story since 1896
  • Seasoned with 100% natural vegetable oil
  • Use in the oven, on the stove, on the grill, or over a campfire. Use to sear, sauté, bake, broil, braise, fry, or grill. Great for induction cooktops.
  • Made in the USA. Item dimensions 18"x12.56"x2.25".

I had a lovely Lodge skillet. Unfortunately the handle one day literally snapped off for no reason. As they are a US company they were uninterested in helping me. I bought a cheap replacement and it’s been just as good.

Yeah, no such thing as USA quality it's just heavy nationalistic marketing so it sells well to the americans , In my experience, a lot of items are overpriced and poorly made. (edited)

I bought the 8", seasoned it twice in the oven and it works great. Fried eggs slide about easily. Thick steaks get a nice crust on them.

One problem, though, is that it scratches my cooker top. I'm replacing the cooker soon with a nice new induction hob so I'm looking for a solution. Has anyone tried silicone BBQ mats between the induction hob and the cast iron skillet?

Try rubbing the base with a diamond sharpening stone. I’ve used this successfully on ceramics so I’m sure it will work for cast iron Good luck

10" ordered. Is this the ultimate outdoor cooking accessory to "Brand" the garden bench to show Rip stopped by on his way to the train station?

Odd bit of merchandise, considering the characters in the show would likely turn their nose up at something so indulgently branded.
