Looks great price if real leather but when you read Product Description it says:

    Product Details
    PU Leather
    Padded Wrist Rest
    Dimensions 8.2" inches by 8.2" Inches (20.8 x 20.8 cm)
    Smooth Surface

People seem to think real leather but states ‘PU Leather’ in which case not so good (not voted either way)

Polyurethane leather is typically more hard-wearing. It doesn't age or risk cracking over time. It doesn't smell. It won't tarnish as easily. It can be made as smooth as required. I'd suggest for this use case it's by far better than natural leather.

Looks terrible to be honest. PU leather, and a wrist rest that's entirely unnecessarily, which will ironically contribute to nerve issues, not help then.

Are mouse pads/mats needed now we have optical mouse?
Genuine question, as I just use mine on the desk surface and seems to work fine.

I use a mouse pad with a wrist rest and it's more comfortable than not using one. I got my latest for £1.20 from AliExpress with some other cheap tat.
