Cute, but not super useful. If you have a flat, level surface, already at the right height, well then these are OK.

Arguably if you have a flat level surface already at the right height, you should just pop your camera on there and not worry about a tripod

Excellent bit of kit. I prefer this to the GoPro stick for vlogging. Very comfortable to hold due to the shape.

Had to do a double take as I remember this was not the original price.

But I like mine, it's still going strong and is a decent desktop tripod. I will however recommend the following instead which is £9.99 - amazon.co.uk/Pol…MH/

I'll see your £13.99 and raise you £9.69

Why is this hot? I've never seen it this expensive.

Because they moved production back to Italy from China and I guess it costs twice as much to make in Italy.
they were still selling the Chinese built ones on Amazon until recently for £16 ish, link is still there but not in stock.

I paid £9.69 a few years ago for mine.

Bought 2 in 2016 (£11 a piece for those with the time machine). There were only 'made in china' then. One broke, one still going strong. Used mostly for video calls during covid. I would have to say these are not very practical for use on hikes or in the field. Much better options out there.

    This is a great camera

No it's got a rubbish amount of megapixels.

Get a gorilla pod. So much more useful as you don't need a level surface. I've even attached one to a tree once to take a photo!

I have both. I use this much more than the gorilla pod. The gorilla pod is resigned to the rear seat of my car now. Both have use cases, just this one suits me better for mine. (edited)

I've been using v1 of this one for years now and it is super sturdy & easy to use. With a smartphone adapter it provides a very solid videoing/blogging grip. I expect mine to last 20 years+, it is so well made.

Wow I bought one of these a few years ago, no way would I have paid anywhere near this price , I doubt I paid half that. Been in my Camera bag ever since , don't think I've ever used it. Just a gadget that looks useful and was cheap.

What is the point of this post? You have never used it? So what? You cannot afford it. So what again?

Most of us buy things that are useful rather than to take up space in a camera bag.

Some people post the weirdest sh**e on these forums.
