I'm no car buff so apologises for my ignorance. What is the difference between this 5w30 and the 5w30 504/507 I use in my VW? Is it the same/similar or is there genuinely a difference? Sometimes wonder if it's just a moneymaking thing and using any 5w30 would be ok as the 504/507 is usually priced higher.

5w30 just refers to viscosity at rated temperatures.

VW 504/507 determines things such as anti corrosive qualities, detergent package, anti foaming, maximum ash content.

The same goes for this WSS spec oil, it will have different additives.

Plenty of these Mannol on Amazon, I wouldn't risk it, ok for 5000 miles but on your mind after...Look after the engine, is it worth it?

Terrible company, look at the google reviews and recent feeback. Ordered last month and never received. Avoid.

I put 5,30 in everything. Car and van. Never had any issues.
