A combination of MRP's popular 1x and XCg models, the MRP AMg ISCG 05 Chain Guide will ensure ultra-reliable chain retention over the harshest terrain. Tough, durable and silent running, it's ideal for mountain bikes (MTBs) with 1x gearing.

Overview
Product descriptionPerfectly suited to the increasingly popular all-mountain segment, this model shares the freshly updated “TR” upper guide with the 1x unit, and adds MRP’s patented integrated skid. This All-Mountain Guide (AMG) is a great choice for 120-150mm (5-6") travel bikes when used with the latest tensioned rear derailleurs or on its own for shorter-travel trail bikes or hardtails that require bash protection.

The contact-free, “upper-only” chain retention on the MRP AMG V2 alloy chain guide means it’s virtually silent and completely drag-free when pedalling. The patented integrated skid will protect your crank and chainring and prevent the chain from ever contacting and potentially damaging your expensive frame.

Top features

  • Frame Fitment Type: ISCG 05
  • Perfect for "clutched" 1x10, 1x11 and 1x12-Speed drivetrains, as well as those using a chain-retaini
  • Updated nylon integrated skid plate protects chainrings and glides over rocks and obstacles
  • Tracked and grooved upper guide and backplate interface increases stiffness and eases installation
  • Updated co-molded "TR" upper guide with softer durometer interior for silent guidance
  • All installation and adjustments are possible with just a single 4mm HEX wrench
  • Compatible with chainlines 49mm and wider

I got this recently, looks a charm on my Scout. Can fit without removing the crank as well which was a bonus

did it come in retail packaging with shims/spacers/ 2 lengths of bolts?
it seems these come as standard on my bike, but i need to space out the mount otherwise its touching the chainstay/pivot

Excellent price and ordered, paid over £70 for my Oneup version of this last year and it’s almost identical.
