    Don't these have a potential issue with the SD slot failing due to heat.

    speaking as a ROG owner, my unit has never had a issue with the SD card reader, but the common user stories are that there are issues with early units, which can mess up the micro SD cards, so I always use an external usb-c sd reader

    It's not a perfect device, but I really love mine

    Love mine. Battery not great but hey ho. Win 11 is both a good and bad thing. Game pass works flawlessly. Good for emulation.

    Lots more of these handhelds coming from various brands, including ones with 144 Hz screens, 32 or 64 GB Ram and much larger batteries. I wouldn't be surprised to see some kind of price war breaking out.
