Wow, there are an awful lot of people voting cold on the second lowest price this mixer has ever been, without explanation. Given that it was £650 at John Lewis before Black Friday, I find that surprising. I guess people prefer paying more than this while getting the satisfaction of defrauding ebay with australian voucher codes.
If you don't have any nails, you can use 'Sticks Like S***', or, alternatively, save even more money and use real s*** instead.
I'm missing a small delivery detail, does anyone have Esther McVey's or Iain Duncan Smith's address?
If you are been honest you don't like Luke either! XD
It’s the ones without badges I don’t like...
Or (like me) a Range Rover owner with a disabled parent and a disabled grandparent who both have disabled badges, and i take them to the shops when they need to go. Guess im one of those inconsiderate RR owners you dont like then... ;)
I'll just use my Pizza stone then it's really good :)
They do, but how heavy are they? It's the thickness of the steel plate that holds the heat needed in a domestic oven to get a nice Char on the base. An unfinished steel plate straight from the merchant is 3 or 4 times the price, and weighs around 10-12kg if its 12mm thick. These are shaped, so unlikely to be more than a couple mm.
They sell iron ones for £6.99 on the same site as Pizza stone
I'd forgotten my mum used to do them in the oven and then put them in a hot frying pan for a minute or so and the bases were gorgeous. Think pizza hut deep pan base is done using a similar technique as it tastes and looks very similar.
You can use normal bread flour instead, but semolina flour is courser and gives it a nice texture. It also seems to work better imo. Well worth buying a pack as it lasts ages if just used for dusting the stone.
Thank you , have placed it in the title for clarity. (y)

Well, in a way, yes. You need to be more patient on this. Give time and it will work.
I popped one of these into my tank full of guppies a few days ago. They just seem to ignore it...... am I doing something wrong?
These disgusting crass deals are ruining the hukd community

Exellent Deal with Free Delivery
Good deal, good shoes, great price.
Heat added. Just what I needed amazingly enough
Watch the top of these, if you get your skin caught in them when closing them it feels like a pair of scissors, and that's from using them in a pro kitchen!
A perfect Christmas present.
Excellent didn't even realise I needed on of these! or the veg peeler that I ended up buying aswell. I've spent £2.36 on a lot worse (highfive)
+ £5 p&p !
Heat added, thanks
Also: the tubes cost nearly £7 plus VAT each (£17 every 6 months!). £34 in replacements PLUS electricity costs per year. Doesn't sound very cheap now does it! Might be a bargain without the high cost and frequency of replacement tubes that cost more than the unit itself in a year.
Are you from linuxsat?
"The highly visible tubes attract pests". Isn't that the last thing you want? :p
Got one very similar, seems to catch every flying insect except flies!
free returns and good reviews might be worth a punt. 1.1% tcb a swell[image missing] for £1.07
These pans any good??
Men's or women's - hard to tell from the pic?
Uniform shirt? Just WTF is Herr Merkel planning for after the Brexit vote.
These will certainly make you look busy, as you'll be sweating in them even when it's snowing outside :D
Voted hot. Just wish they had bigger sizes :(
Unlock it then.
Can we keep this thread on topic now please? There's a feedback thread started by the OP here discussing the inclusion of VAT on HUKD if you wish to make a valid contribution. Thanks.
Great deal for a decent probe. Bought at 4.99 from London store
I got my Costco ones when it was still a seven piece set, we use the bread knife all the time so well worth picking up separate though it is £130 on its own :(
The Costco set are 5 knives and a block for £225 inc vat. I got mine from Tesco direct at £140 for the anniversary model block and 5 knives. Absolutely brilliant kit.
In the past Tesco have has some good offers on Global knife sets so might be worth keeping an eye on their website
have to agree entirely
Had mine 10 years now - they're almost like new. Great lifetime value if you don't lose them.
I've had this set at work for about 3 years now. All are still in good condition and sharp enough especially with the included steel.
Reviews on site :)
@PeterJD That was my thinking too...but obviously HUKD voters believe in £5 toasters/kettle/irons rather than a product that is well engineered at a discount price. And at least you don't have to go trying to match barcodes or go to obscure locations to snag the last one... HeyHo and thanks for the comprehensive research.
This is shown as model 5KTT890BER on Pots and Pans, where it's listed at £195 but out of stock. Kitchen Appliances 123 say it's a discontinued model. Amazon state it's 'currently unavailable', with no price, but uk.camelcamel imply the last Amazon price was £169. It therefore looks like it is indeed a discontinued model. Although I'm not a fan of the KitchenAid look myself, I think a branded product being sold off for half price really should be red hot.
I am somewhat puzzled why people actually take the time to vote this down...if you think it is expensive for a toaster that's fine; but it is a good quality heavy-duty every-day device from a reputable brand and a reputable retailer. Yes, I appreciate there is some ambiguity regarding the whether it is current or older version but it is still a deal.
So it Does! Maybe an old model then? I've been pricing the new one up recently ( looks much nicer than this one!) and thats around £240 everywhere.
Curious. If you zoom in on the image on the website, the badge says "Artisan" below "KitchenAid".
Dick Pro Pairing knife £1.99 :3
I forgot to mention Quidco 4% new customers and 2.5% for the existing ones
