Large stock of these pickles in my local Morrisons supermarket in Kirkby, Liverpool.

Reduced from £3.60 to 60p!

Lovely with cold meats etc

    I've seen pickled Walnuts, I'm aware of them but never had them. I'm just thinking how weird it is now. Maybe I should try them

    These are delicious; I’m off now to my local in hope this is repeated there. Doubtful but worth the chance
    If you have never tried them they really are worth a shot. Don’t be put off by appearance. Particularly good with soft and blue cheeses. If you can eat mouldy cheese then be brave enough to try them

    Trip taken to Gloucester store : I had last jar remaining but price £1.65 but still a bargain ; marked as clearance so appears to be national (edited)

    Love pickled walnuts, they seem to be the only thing that hasn't been affected by the price rises over the past few years being stuck at £3.60-£3.75 for at least the last 4 years or at least since I managed to get a load of jars from the local Asda for 40p on clearance which we still have at least 6 jars that expire this year

    Thanks a lot for posting this. I found half a dozen in Ealing Broadway branch this afternoon @ 60p on the shelf. Nearby was an empty shelf of 30p silverskin onions. Sure I got the best deal there...................

    Also found empty shelf of 30p silverskin onions today! They weren't 30p yesterday more like 60p yesterday.

    What are they like. I see the comments about trying them with cheese and I guess worth a try at 60p?

    They are very nice indeed but judging by some of the comments here, much liked by some and hated by others. The walnuts are picked while in their skin and brined, then pickled, so taste more of pickle than of walnut.....................
