I have this and it's decent. The heatsink is not secured to the ssd and the heat cannot escape because of the cover so gets toasty. I'd get one where the case is also a heatsink, especially for gen 4 drives. (edited)

I got the NVMe+SATA version a couple of weeks ago and can confirm this. Also, it is a bit plasticky though described as an aluminium case (the part of the outer case that you hold is the only aluminium part, the rest is all plastic). However, the heat isn't a concern on mine - fitted a WD Black 1TB drive in it. Gets warm but nothing of concern.

It was delivered in 7 days (also ordered a docking station at the same time, from a different Orico store, thats just now reached UK customs 2 weeks on).

UPDATE: as an aside, I just received the docking station. Interestingly on the customs declaration they've put the value as $2.19! (probably the wholesale price) (edited)

Can only seem to get it down to £7.26, but still decent price.

    I think it's a new user price.

People should be very careful when ordering from AliExpress. Make sure what you're actually ordering is what you're looking for as every listing is for multiple products. The landing page (and image) will be for the cheapest (possibly rubbish) they've included in the post to make it look cheap. The little images below the price show all the variations available - check all the images themselves for a description of what you're actually getting (and on your order check the actual model number is correct).

All the available coupons are also accessible just below the price. Clicking 'get the offer' didn't do anything for me, but copying the code and entering it into the checkout screen worked.

I ordered this (the NVMe+SATA version a couple of weeks ago) and it was diffictult to work out actually what I was ordering and how to work the coupons too. But everything else was good, it arrived in 7 days and is a decent enough product. I've used it. It can be classed a 'value' product.

By this logic, you may as well warn everyone about using Amazon, eBay etc. - basic "ordering online" 101.

This happens on Amazon and eBay and other online stores too.

I'm being charged 20% VAT. If you are too, it's around £6.75 if paying in USD with a fee-free card...

Try collecting the codes from the listing before checking out.
