Great price for an excellent microwave. And incase anyone's wondering, yes you can use the microwave and the grill together with the metal grill stand safely (the stand has plastic feet to stop arcing). i.e. you can put metal in a microwave as long is it doesn't arc. It's often recommended, when reheating a hot drink, to put a metal spoon into the cup. Microwave-splaining!

Our house we bought came with a Panasonic microwave. That was 7 years ago and I bet it was there 10 or more years prior to that. Still going strong and wouldn't hesitate to buy another

We've had the non-grill model for about 18 months (I think we paid about £160), intermittent problems with the turntable, although it does eventually correct itself. Whilst I am usually a strong advocate of Panasonic products, this microwave is nothing special, the features and build quality are OK at best.

As for cooking... well it microwaves food. (edited)
