I bought this 5 years ago and it's a solid piece of engineering! It's one of the best designed products for self-assembly I've seen. It even has a small spirit level.

Never sure about these stands with glass bases

The glass acts as a counter weight and is fit for purpose. I have 2 and I'm not worried it will break as it's thick and heavy duty.

I know the spec is clear that it is for up to 60" or up to 40kg,
considering the TV today is relatively light weight (typically about 20kg), any chance to fit a 65" or 70" TV on this please?
    Thanks

Looks decent. I ended up paying more and got the Sanus VTVS1 Universal Swivel TV Stand. I bought it for my G2 55. Its probably very similar to this but I thought Ive bought a decent TV why not invest in a stand which has been mentioned across multiple forums etc as being decent. I also didnt want to get the glass base. I thought the Sanus one would have been full metal and solid. Its kind of hollow but solid. Pleased with it so far. Very stable. Should last forever fingers crossed lol.

How much did you pay? Does it look good in person? I need one for my 55inch LG C2 OLED that I use as a monitor, but all of these stands look the same to me online.

Looks good for LG G series OLEDs

£149 for the official plain plastic rigid stand is criminal (edited)

I was looking for the genuine stand but its just not worth the price. Plus, with the mount stand I bought you get the height adjustment which I think its a great option to have. £150-199 is crazy for the legit stand. Nearly made me cancel my G2 and just buy a C3 as it came with a stand lol

How did you manage to get it for that price? I’ve just tried and it’s coming in at £19.48 for me! Have you had any gift certificates or something to take off an extra fiver? Thanks in advance,
