About this deal
Aimed the young ones to manage their fluff with a more gentle shave, but perhaps you might enjoy this as a hirsute person in 'those' areas.
Fundamentally identical to the normal version, but with a different blade.
For your First Shave - tough on hair, gentle on skin.
Bullets:
- OneBlade First Shave has unique OneBlade technology which gives you a fast and clean shave while caring for your skin.
- The blade has an anti-friction glide coating to give an especially comfortable shave, reduce razor burn and protect from nicks and cuts.
- OneBlade First Shave can be used wet or dry, with or without shaving foam for convenient use in the shower.
- Shave in either direction with the dual-sided blade: designed for precision and control.
- USB-A charging (plug not included) makes it convenient to charge on the go.

A little bit of google work shows they claim to have added a layer of "glass beads" to reduce friction.
Comparing the pictures, there's a blue layer on top of the cutting layer on this, whilst the standard one has a metallic cover.
Since "glass" isn't usually blue, I presume the marketing department have have decreed some colour must be added to make it look different.
Glass beads would also fall off, so either they're melted into a glass sheet and are no longer beads, or are embedded in some adhesive or plastic. The adhesive/plastic option is probable, considering safety.
Changing anything else would cost money, so why would they ?
I also imaging it might not cut as close, with a thin layer between the cutter and the skin.
My old shaver unfortunately died after about 5 years and I had one blade that lasted a few years, I know! Still did my neck and beard great so cannot complain at all no nicks or scratches either. These are well worth the money and easy to maintain
