    I keep going between this and the Galaxy Watch 4. Similar deals on right now, but despite being 2 generations older the 4 seems better reviewed and nicer.

    I have a 4 and it's great. The battery life has improved massively with software updates.

    I got this watch for Christmas. I've been so very disappointed with the battery life. I have it in power save mode all the time. I turn off all things like location WiFi NFC etc. I have the bluetooth on and for health reasons keep the heart rate monitoring on all day. I don't wear it in bed and put it in sleep mode. Still the next day the battery is so low you wouldn't get through the next day so it has to be charged daily. Put location on and it just depletes the battery. The functions are fine, linking with the health app is good and being notified when messages come through on your phone is helpful. But let down by the drag if charging. I wouldn't buy one again.

    For this price is decent value but the watch is slow, laggy and completely unreliable to accurately measure serious workouts.

    Thanks finally bit the bullet and ordered it; its the bigger watch and I was looking at buying some scales anyway so made sense. Bonus is the pay in 3 with paypal.

    Is the body smart scale available if I bought a qualifying watch from say Amazon? It's just that my wife prefers the 40mm which is similarly priced....

    I would be cautious of amazon as likely third party sellers. They are tempting as cheaper but they tend to be imports and not all features work such as the nfc pay.

    If you go to samsungoffers.claims/sam…ing you can see all the dealers where you can claim the scales.
