2 things,It’s not free you have to spend over £599 to get it,and RRP £119.99 for a case.....come on let’s not be silly Billy’s
Exactly and I'm glad that people who don't strictly need all the features also buy it - as it helps increase sales - which should help with the price and development. Having said that I do wonder if the lack of removable battery was in part to attract more mainstream users, in which case sales to them and not just a niche could be seen as negative. So many people said the Note was ridiculous and would flop - as Samsung showed in the press release, and they proved them all wrong. For me it's the best phone available, and the only choice. Nice and simple. Will wait for a dual sim version though I think, and get 512GB so that not being able to expand the memory won't matter. The Galaxy X is going to be nuts.
This phone isn't meant for them obviously. It's a full spec power user phone. If you don't need the features, don't but it, simple. I do work on my Note. I only get the Note line because I really like the S pen. If this had a removable battery still with a faux leather back like the Note 4 it'd be the perfect phone to me (if they could somehow do that and keep it waterproof - otherwise I'd be willing to trade off waterproofing for that). Comments like yours are just pointless. It's like saying why do divers buy diving watches when 99.9% of people will do fine with a watch that just tells the time, and then complaining about some people that also buy the diving watch even if they don't strictly need it because they like it, and have the money to spend. Pure stupidity.
Apple is what it is, expensive. Not a fanboy I got the mi pad 4 and a Redmi Note and plenty of windows PCs and I like them all but I do also have a MacBook, iMac, iPhone x, iPad Pro and Apple Watch. If you want iOS then you pay the price no choice. It is what it is you have no choice. If you want android then you can get 95% as good as the S9 note for less than 1/2 the price. Looking at Oneplus 6 or pixel 2, Xiaomi Mi mix 3 or just about almost all the other top tear phones. This is a bargain site and the S9 note is not a bargain in fact this is RRP so let’s all move on.
I would take a GT40 over anything BMW has to offer. German cars are also the most unreliable. I would also take ANY android phone over anything Apple, i detest using my iPad and not being able to install what i want when i want, such as Kodi without third party exploits like Cydia impactor Also, why are you thinking that Apple justify their price tag and Samsung doesn't?? . Sounds like someone has fallen hook, line & sinker for Apples marketing engine.
I wish you both a very happy future together.
Not sure if its company specific? I use corporateperks. it comes up as 10x reward points currently until tomorrow
OMG. It's out of stock on Samsung's website. I'll try again later. I too need to use PayPal and obviously need the free duo charger. ;)
Is that 10% something you could share or account specific? Don't think my company has this :(
Keep checking back, its gone out of stock a few times. I ordered through corp perks for an additional 10% rebate =)
Anyone know anywhere else you can do the PayPal deal since Samsung is OOS (baffles me how a manufacturer can ever let itself go out of stock)
Still can’t see myself going back to android
It's £899 and the note 8 was £819
128Gb model £900 + £400 for Note 8 trade in = £500 balance. Not exactly cheap, but better than £800 advertised here.
This is nothing, they pay £100 for pixel 2 xl XD
I think that if you can connect the tv to the soundbar via wifi it’ll work. Frustratingly the instructions state that all the speakers (inc soundbar) need to be on the same wifi. I’d love that someone could correct me (tried all sorts). Was hoping to get 4.1 sound going.
The soundbar is MS6500. It is a recent model. I thought it would have that function.
I think this is because your soundbar needs to multiroom too i.e. the tv isn’t clever enough to send via cable to the soundbar and via wifi to the speakers.
Is it wifi and stereo?
I just had a look at their Trustpilot reviews. 915 reviews and they have a rating of 1.1 out of 10. Wow!
They have offered me a voucher. For a mobile phone!!! I ordered speakers not a kettle or a mobile phone. How to make a situation worse by poor handling
Thanks Hawkface. Currently Samsung Shop could not care less and are just stating that they have refunded me so what is the problem. Truly awful service. I would have hoped for so much more from a reputable brands own shop but apparently not. Wish I knew how to let others know not to shop there but reviews on TrustPilot also awful so just joining a very large group
Surely you have right to insist on your order - it's not your fault the courier lost it. Maybe double check with Citizen's Advice?
After 11 delay emails, countless emails with Samsung Shop they have cancelled my order as lost by DPD. No offer of anything else. Service abysmal. Please do not ever shop with Samsung Shop as you could regret it

Im getting £75 for z5 compact?
So it looks like they have extended this - however they have increased their prices and reduced the amount of trade-in you get. To give you an example, I did a "trade-up" via Samsung about a month ago. S8 was £599 - so OK, not a major price increase, however an increase never the less. They also gave me £200 for my old Galaxy S6 32GB - that is double what they are currently offering. I love the way the cashback is taken off up front and all you have to do is return your old handset after you've received your new one. The ordering and returns process is excellent. However those decreases in trade-in prices, they really aren't anywhere near as good now. I'm not voting either way, but seriously check the "real world" value of your phone before you take this reduced offer from Samsung.
When I last checked, s8 plus was not on the list
Which is a total con as your iPhone 7 Plus is easily worth north of £300 after fees on eBay or Facebook.
Sadly the moment has now passed. The deal is confined to the lonely happiness of those who were brave enough to take the risk and follow the path that unfolds to a dawn of potential cash back, discount and interest free loans.
The cashback has gone completely now. Was £97 on an s9 last night :)
because of some of the cashback ending last night - i did it. sorry!
i expired it as the extra £2.50 from the cashback site finished last night. the rest of it should still work.
I hope it still works, I'm going to try it tonight with the normal s9 (y)
There is stock back again on the samsung site. https://www.samsung.com/uk/audio-video/multiroom-360-sound-speaker-wam150x/WAM1500XU/
These are in stock in black at Hughes. I've just received mine today, that I ordered last Saturday 21st. £99 for the 2 speakers, less £6 with Save6, so £93. https://www.hughes.co.uk/product/audio/hifi-and-speakers/multiroom-audio/samsung-package-deals/sam-wam1500-and-sam-wam1500/
Well they won’t be great at this price but will no doubt give your music a boost: just have realistic ex
Out of stock already😫😫
I'm tempted by anything like this but I must stop myself I don't even need them
Would be a great deal if the phones were competitively priced. The note is 50% higher than you can get elsewhere.
Just ordered :)
OK, so change of mind. Website has been updated, offer now good until 8th July. Got one coming in Orchid Grey and one in Rose Pink. It really is a good price of £299 to upgrade from our S6's. Cheers OP for posting the deal.
Excellent news. I decided to hold-off this time around, however out of interest I went to see if I "could" order today if I wanted. I clicked on the trade-up link and got to the screen where you enter the IMEI and no matter how many times I clicked on continue the page wouldn't update. So I wonder if they have now removed the trade-up option or rather the ability to enter an IMEI to get the trade-up.
Received my phone this morning and will be returning my S6. Everything went through absolutely fine!
My invoice from Samsung clearly states £250 trade in value. My phone for return is in perfect condition, so I expect this to go through. Will let you know....
What's the code please as showing £799 currently. Thanks
Kind of already posted here. I also used the Bupa Rewards discount and got mine for £489. Just not really impressed with it so far. I don't find the S9+ much better than the S7 Edge the way I use it.
Very tempting that price for an S9+ with that big discount for the S7 edge
Can confirm it accepts order without being employee
Looking for one but cannot find cheaper
BTW there's an extra 15% discount going through Bupa Rewards. So I paid my S9+ £488.65 after trade in. Not bad. (cheeky)
Is it possible to trade in multiple phones? I can't find the info in the T&C.
Voted hot. Tempted to go for an S9+ hybrid sim for £549 after trading in my S7 edge. Has anyone found this phone cheaper elsewhere?
Still £439 after trade in I'm sure you can get cheaper elsewhere
is the 40NU7120 model worth the extra dough over the 40MU6400 ?
What's the difference between the MU6300 and MU6400, if any but the number? :S
I got this TV a week ago on the Very 20% cashback deal. It's awesome. I've not had any backlight issues with mine.
Got ya :)
I know, tried that myself, I meant the Samsung store in the Post . Got them to match another offer from there .
Since, they had my money for two weeks now and send me an email to wait for two weeks, I'll request a comparable tv from the third week onwards. Should have refunded it, but now I've a point to make a polite request, will update you guys, looks promising.
Afraid not. They took the money off my credit card and status is just showing as 'Order placed'. I did email them and they said they are awaiting stock, but don't know when it will arrive. No offer of alternative. I get the feeling it won't arrive. Might give it a couple more weeks and then email them again to see if any other options available
Did they deliver your purchase
Currently in stock for those that want to order @ £299. I just managed to bag one and got the confirmation email from Samsung and text from bank to authenticate my purchase. Next day free delivery apparently
No I'm just not a fan of silver as I find it distracting, prefer black. Personal preference I guess.
I don't think it said but probably had only a few as it's an old model.
I (and many others) have a fault with this set.. On HDMI sources you occasionally get a colour flash which is entirely unreproducable. I've had the main board replaced and the firmware updated but it still happens. It's going off to KnowHow for a soak test on Friday in the hope they see the problem and deem it unfixable.. Time will tell.. if i were you, i'd go for the MU7000 if you can afford the extra.
What's wrong with the bezel? Too big?
Need to keep an eye out!
Shame really as the mu7000 is so widely praised and always gets great reviews and seems to be in that lower to mid range price - they must sell loads of them but they're pushing the newer ranges quite hard now
Spoke to Samsung this morning they couldn't give any time if it would ever come back in stock. My thoughts are it won't....
https://www.johnlewis.com/samsung-ue55mu7000-hdr-1000-4k-ultra-hd-smart-tv-55-with-tvplus-freesat-hd-dynamic-crystal-colour-360-design-ultra-hd-certified-silver/p3198028 they're out of stock on John Lewis too, seems like they are selling quick due to the football !
I'm getting impatient and might just go for the Richer sounds 669 if it's still available... edit. So I can't find it on JL site? Will they price match anything if it's not on there? Richer sounds have made it an in store purchase only so I can't apply any discount codes?
Let me know aswell (y)
It is upto £300. Depends on how old the phone is and how it looks cosmetically. They will also bench test it. Then you get your reduction.
Its one more.
I'll wait for S10
pmsl. total joke.
You always got the digital pen included what a rip
Way overpriced vs iPad now, I still have my S2 and the S3 does not offer much more aside from a pen that never connects.
Offer seems to have changed, the keyboard case is no longer in the deal, its just £100 off with the digital pen.
Love mine. Big step up from the Note 10.1 (2014). Got a 2 month old one from eBay for just over £300. Well happy ;-)
At £500, it's not twice as good as the S2 which is £250.
Thanks picked up a new strap for my Gear S3
Quite expensive even with 30% off. For example, alcantara cover for s8+ is around a tenner on amazon, on samsung website is 44 pounds (30.80 after 30% off). Bargain (:I
