I'm sure about a month ago you could get a 55mu7000 with a free 4k player and some movies for £999. 7000 is a massive step up compared to any 6000 series.

You'd probably want a much better TV if you're buying a blu-ray UHD player so you could get the benefit of HDR. I'd be surprised if there's any noticable difference between blu-ray and blu-ray UHD at 55" without it.

Looks like a great deal. Wish my current tv would break so the wife will let me get a new one haha

You will get a similar pack like the recycle one. (blue envelope). Paper work will state switch program.
Check your junk email. That's where I had the email about returning the IPhone.

FlyGuyUK21 h, 55 m ago

Can someone tell me what the envelope looks like as part of the switch …Can someone tell me what the envelope looks like as part of the switch programme and how long after ordering it takes? I have received one envelope which I believe is for the recycle scheme. I'm going away next week and wanted to get everything finalised.I've received my new Note 8 and it looks fantastic compared to my Note 3 !!! Went for the dual sim gold option and I'm impressed. Black looks too bog standard and the gold is a light gold, not too garish, a lovely colour.

Hi. Its blue envelope you get. Same pack as ghe recycling pack you get. The paper work does state switch programme on it so check this.

The recycle pack also is the same but states the cost of the phone. So you can tell the difference between them

Hard decision which to keep [Image]

Honestly fanboyness aside which do you genuinely prefer? I was a note fan for years moved back to iPhone Plus once the note 5 wasn't gonna be released in UK and recently back to Note 8 after getting rid of my 7 plus and I don't miss apple at all.

If I had to go back I'd go 8 plus over the iPhone X as that notch would drive me nuts watching media on my phone.

Good deal but unfortunately majority of the retailers have purposely bumped their prices up to 399 now. A shame. You're basically paying for the headphones since the price had been hiked up 100 quid.

Hopefully you will be OK if your one of the lucky ones to get written confirmation that you'll receive it, but if not it does not look good for getting the VR. If the VR was an important factor in ordering the phone I would consider returning it. You can try John Lewis to price match the £589 deal, sell your trade in phone on eBay and still get the VR so you will be better off. If your not bothered about the VR and your trade in phone is worthless then this might still be a decent deal.

Can anyone confirm if they will accept a fully working iPhone with a smashed screen as the trade in?

I was about to go with this earlier today as it is still live. I pay £8.50 per month to Plusnet (sim only deal on a monthly rolling contract) and in need of a new phone. The phones comes to £53 deposit and appx £20 monthly pay for 24 months.

£20 x 24 = £480, plus £53 = £533

I have a Galaxy S4 at home which is not used at all. However, £20 per month + £8.50, it ends up like a contact phone anyway.

It comes with a VR set. Buy you can buy the phone on Amazon, and still be able to claim the VR kit with it. So thinking about it, it is not a great deal, even if you have the spare unused S3 or S4, it is comparable if not any worse than a 24 month contract.
