About this deal

Asda in Clacton.
I think I see these deals posted here regularly, and not sure if they are better than the Ninja Zerostick. But have been looking for a 20cm replacement. This will probably give me an excuse to spend my CashPot, which is expiring at the end of the month.

It's crazy that you can jump in at £34 for a 5pce Scoville set, and then add additional Scoville items to create a wonderful cookware portfolio. Why do people bother buying tinpot junk from the likes of Meyer Prestige and their shockingly overpriced Circulon junk, is beyond me!
Scoville is the best quality budget brand bar none.
And if you want high-end, go for Ninja.
And for a good mainstream alternative, go for Tefal. Although Scoville in my opinion will always out do Tefal on bang-for-your-buck$
    Get cooking, people

I've had a few scovilles and found that they lose their non stick properties with time (yes, I only hand wash and cook on low to mid heat). I've kept a couple of them for making 'wet' dishes or when I actually want things to catch a bit (bubble and squeak). Maybe these newer additions are better but I've been caught out thinking that at least twice and instead bought a couple of decent heavy base tefal pans that have been absolutely superb.

Funny for me the tefal one's have been the worst. My best non stick is a Salter.

100% agree, Agree, AGREE. Amazing value and quality. I started with the Scoville 5pce set about 2yrs ago for silly money (£32'ish I think). And I've added more Scoville cookware items when I see them on national deals like this. I now have a kitchen that Raymond Blanc would be proud of. All for under £100. Absolutely fantastic cookware, and today I enjoy cooking 😄.
And on Saturday, I just walked into Asda and bought a Scoville fast boil kettle for £18, complete with a 3 year warranty. It looks fantastic with smoked glass and illuminating boiling.

From previous experience the non stick coating doesn't last long

Either way too much heat while dry it's being scraped by a unsuitable utensil.

My teenage kids kill these by cooking on very high heat.
They still last 1-2 years of punishment and are cheap enough to let them learn how to cook.
If used carefully regarding heat / metal / cleaning / dishwashing, these could last 10 years.

I've got one these and they are NOT NON-STICK. I rarely use it because I don't think it's very good, on the other hand, because I think it's rubbish I bought a Ninja non-stick pan at Crimbo and I absolutely love it. It is GENUINELY non-stick, you don't need to use oil and I canny recommend the Ninja non-sick pan enough, however I DO NOT recommend this if you're after a non-stick pan.

Thanks I was going to replace my scoville pros after 6 years but if this model isn't non stick I'll hang out for another scoville deal.
    Thanks for your advice.

I had a set of these pans however they were no good in my experience and as someone who cooks daily. The Non stick coating eventually started to come off and I ended up with little black bits from the coating integrated with food that was cooked in the pan. Probably be fine for the short term. Very much doubt they are better than Ninja. :/
