Seems awfully cheap for a TB4 cable

They’re solid cables. Got the 2m myself. Works fine and is of decent quality

A great price but average cable having had one and sent it back. I confess I didn’t test data transfer speeds but it could not attain the claimed 8k @ 60Hz. It didn’t even manage 4k @ 60Hz.

it manages 5k @ 60Hz fine (Studio Display)

I got one 80cm and it is as good as 2,5x more expensive Spigen cable.

These aren't actually TB4 are they?

It's not intel certified, so it's not TB4, not that it actually states it's TB4 - just that it is compatible with the hole it plugs into.
If comments are true stating it's 20Gbps that's also a pointer, a true TB4 cable has to have a minimum of 32Gbps.

Ok so you don’t have to be certified by intel anymore once you are using USB 4.0, I have a few USB 4.0 (not this specific cable though) that aren’t thunderbolt certified but work just as well for my eGPU. As long as a cable is fully USB 4.0 compliant it’s thunderbolt compatible as well.

USB 4 is not equal to TB4, and whilst it is comparable at cable lengths up to 1m it still isn't exactly the same.
As you say for most use cases it would be fine, but I doubt this cable would be up to the job of driving my 2 studio displays from my TB4 dock.

it does work actually (this cable for each studio display)

As other's have said USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 are DIFFERENT. This is a USB4 cable that can use a Thunderbolt 4 port - in a similar way to how USB 1.0 dongles can plug into USB 2.0 ports.
Thunderbolt 4 includes all the features of USB4. They are usually more expensive.
For most uses USB4 may be good enough.
