    Yes and no. The 50" has quite bad judder with 24p content on panning movements and is difficult to watch because of that. If you just watch regular TV and not movies in 24p (such as Blu-ray etc), it's alright, or if you use the motion smoothing features.
    Otherwise, a great Sony (very good sound for a TV on their models in the last few years), but no headphone jack. I'd recommend spending a bit more on a better Sony if you want one. Sony still has best in class panel uniformity, colour accuracy, viewing angles and overall reliability.
