Price match to Master of Malt. I have a bottle myself and it's tasty! Creamy corn whiskey taste, with a nice sweetness because of the full Oloroso Cask maturation. Not excessively sweet but nicely balanced. Non chill filtered and natural colour.

Also has a Moose picture on the front and back! What is not to like? Unless you like Elk more, then probably a problem.

I hope this isn't a really daft question, but is this a bourbon whiskey? My fiance loves bourbon and I try to get him ones he hasn't tried now and again. Just don't want to drop £30 if I end up getting it wrong lol

It's a Canadian Corn whisky, which is related to American Bourbon whiskies but not the same. It's closest analogue are American Corn whiskies and high corn content Bourbons. If they like the latter two types of American whiskies they might like this. I like my Bourbons and I enjoyed this.

Canadian whiskies tend to be either almost 100% Corn or 100% Rye in the mashbill.

I have a bottle of this - it's creamy with a bit of sweetness because of the full Oloroso maturation. Would do well with fans of high corn American Bourbon whiskies. Corn whiskies are not common in the UK especially with an age statement and 100% Oloroso maturation. I found Mellow Yellow Corn Whiskey sweeter than this and less balanced.

Non-chill filtered and natural colour. (edited)

I personally love Baby Blue which is a blue corn Texan whiskey. Suspect this is similar taste profile?

Sounds interesting! Would definitely give this a go if I didn't have a full cupboard already.

    You need a new cupboard.

Seems to be the same price on a few sites. I guess the advantage here is free delivery if you have prime.

Only one site,ie,Master of Malt as it is one of their own bottlings and Amazon price matched it as I said in the description:

Atom brands owns Master of Malt and That Boutique-y Whisky Company(owned by AB InBev).

It's not sold in many other places - most list it as out of stock at a higher price. This is over £25 and normal Amazon delivery is free - no prime is needed,so the cheapest delivered. (edited)
