Great price for all the extended versions all in 4K, I had some google credit to use up too so even better!

Peter Jackson's award-winning "The Lord of the Rings Trilogy" now includes all three films as Extended Editions: The Fellowship of the Ring Extended Edition, The Two Towers Extended Edition, and The Return of the King Extended Edition. The Trilogy tells a story of a meek hobbit of The Shire and eight companions setting out on a journey to Mount Doom to destroy the One Ring and the dark lord Sauron.

Pretty poor value, when they’re currently £14.99 for 4K on iTunes, which has better bit rates.

There are only one version of these films worth owning. Currently, you do not own them

They'll remove problematic scenes in a few years when somebody gets offended

The Google Play store is dreadful for finding offers and deals now. Boxsets are like finding a needle in a haystack. The app will only allow you to purchase individual movies. Eg. Back to the Future, £22 total for buying each movie on the app, but on desktop you can buy a Trilogy Boxset for £15! Is that even legal? Has anyone else noticed this?

Agreed, it has steadily got worse, what is the point in n having offers if you are hiding them or making them difficult to view/access?! I can't seem to find TV show individual season deals let alone box sets at all any more! They really need to advertise it properly! Make it front page news! Same with 4k deals

Always been put off buying these in 4k as the CGI were only ever filmed in 2k as I recall.

I have the 4K blurays and they look absolutely incredible. I've seen the movies probably a dozen times over the years and I was just in awe over some of the visuals. Really recommend treating yourself on them if you love these movies.
