I have bought a few of these when they are around this price. They suit my needs perfectly. However, the first one I bought, about, 2 years ago, has on occasion, been very difficult to open. Almost like the threads have crossed. I have had to resort to using a vice to get the top off. It could be partly due to the hot liquid cooling and creating a vacuum as it tends to happen the next day when I didn't consume the contents.
I will buy this red one to add to my collection. Appreciate the deal post op

You say you bought it about 2 years ago? Don't these come with a 5 year guarantee? I'd try to make a claim on their guarantee mate. It would actually be a good test of their customer service and I for one would be interested in their response to see how well they stand by their products. At the end of the day, there would be no harm in asking them, right? (edited)

Thanks OP, literally just talking about one of these for my lunches.

The 710ml is also available for £18.99 which seems a decent saving.

I bought a Morrisons own brand, which after 3-4 hours pasta or similar is stone cold. Will the Thermos keep the heat better? Or are they designed for things like soup?

Thermos is pretty much the market leader in terms of overall hours it keeps insulation

I take this to work a few times a week. It's been good to have something other than sandwiches, it's been a game changer during winter. It is just the right size for a decent lunch but not achieving that bloated feeling. Top tip: heat you food in one of these in the microwave for 2.5-3 mins and it you can tip it straight I: tkmaxx.com/uk/en/home/kitchen+dining/food-preparation+storage/food-storage+lunch-boxes/red-microwaveable-soup-mug-656ml/p/85753059?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=OrganicShopping&utm_campaign=GoogleShopping&utm_term=8575305911111&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwte-vBhBFEiwAQSv_xci4Bc1vg2TnWKsYd-EjpOuRE5q3HxtXtNVm9TiEhkOVb7rpy0IZcRoCwFAQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

The one with a pouring spout is better but I can find it. (edited)

Been using one of these for soup over the winter. Excellent flasks and can recommend.
