BLC will also give a 5% code and if you download their APP as a new user you get a 10% off code

Triton brand these different names to sell at different retailers, presumably to stop people comparing prices? If you contact them they will actually tell you which models are the same essentially other than by name.

Find a way to attach a small, thin mesh, bag under the pressure outlet on the underside front left, because if you don't have a plug in and there's too much pressure in the shower then it will blow that ball bearing straight down the plughole, and the shower is useless until you replace that ball.
I was lucky to catch mine as I had a filter trap on the plughole

That’s the old style pressure release device. The newer ones which can be retrofitted have a membrane instead of a little ball. Cheap as chips to replace £6.99 for 2 on Amazon.

Triton are terrible quality, had nothing but issues. Enginers have been clueless, making it up as they go along. Caught them out as I have both electrical/engineering and basic plumbing experience. They eventually replaced the unit after 3 failed attempts to repair blaming everything bar their product. Current unit working ok but I would never touch another. The one I haveis top of their range but my advise would be spend the money and buy a better brand. (edited)

First rule of installing showers: never, ever buy anything other than Mira. It's always a false economy.

Even the cheapest Mira will be more reliable, hold a more stable temperature and outlast even the most expensive Triton (and tbh, the more features there are on a Triton, the more flakey they get).

I've a Mira that's never had an issue in 25 years; there's a good chance it will outlive me. (edited)

....unless you live in a very hard water area as I do and you can't descale a showers heating element as you can a kettle - so you may be right, but not right if the water you put through it is hard. You could install a water softener but that's another inline expense. Also if you tend to have long electric showers, the Mira wiring will become hard and brittle just like a Triton one where eventually the wiring will fail and again you will have to throw it out. These things all need to be considered instead of simply thinking Mira will serve me better but agree Mira is far superior in quality and design but just as susceptiple to the conditions it runs in as a Triton. Your 25 year old Mira would have also been made in the era of buy and keep and manufacturers were proud that you bought just one unit from them life and sod the sales figures whilst now it's buy and throw away as fast as possible - just like the old Indesit Washing Machines had replaceable drum bearings and now they are sealed for life so Indesit can claw more money from your wallet. I've always had a triton and on they've lasted at least 6 years if not more before replacing.

52669130-Oa8fi.jpgMine arrived today and I can confirm it has the identical solenoid valve ( a common failure point as it's made of plastic - not metal ) that Triton sells on their website alone for £48 delivered. Internals and externals identical to Agio model and many more I imagine that are just remodel branded. Sneaky from Triton they do not cross refer this model as a direct swap for Agio which it is ( probably so Amazon can retain their high RRP on their "model version" (edited)
