I managed to get a family and friends railcard but said the promotion expired after the faff around getting two mugshots from my album then it let me continue. Purchased a cheap train ticket from Lichfield City to Lichfield Trent Valley to activate rail card and total cost came to £2.27. Very happy I got it for once! (edited)

How would any dispute be settled, bearing in mind they base out of Singapore? Then operate under singapore law. I would suggest you never do a transaction with them that is not paid by credit card

I bought a family railcard on their promotion by mistake and thought that's it. Their customer service was spot on and as I'd not activated the card (not bought a train ticket) they refunded, no issue. Paid with PayPal to be double safe.

Agree sells out instantly... Tried to buy the last 2 occasions they ran this promo. Wasted time and they get you to set up a trip.com account to even apply so win win for trip but not for me. 100 railcards is just bait. Should be much more like 1000 to make it meaningful

as predicted... after several refreshes got a basket with £1 went to pay and it jumped to £30 at the checkout of the order. another several refreshes agian I get an order in at £1 and went to check out to get the message sorry promotion expired! All this despite having selfies and payment details all lined up.. so frustrating and won't be bothering with this again next time they run it. Anyways well done to to those who were successful.

I posted this a while back and some people managed to get it but it does really quickly

I was all lined up for it, clicked through, then it said I needed to upload a selfie. No option to take one. So obviously I lost my chance by the time I took my pic.
Would have been nice if there was a warning. Who the heck keeps pictures of themselves on their own phone, especially instantly accessible ones?
