sorted byWith a few small exclusion zones around fireplace tiling, dog rugs, and a chair with sloped base, the vacuum is successfully cleaning the whole of the downstairs without issue.
It picks up a reasonable amount of dirt too.
I've setup a schedule so it runs every morning just before everyone wakes; I think "little, often" is the mantra for robot vacuums.
Looks like Google assistant integration is nonfunctional atm though, you can add it ("works with Google"-> "Smart Life" -> Venga credentials), and successfully issue commands, but the vacuum simply responds audibly with "invalid key pressing".
I guess it might get fixed at some point, as it's clearly capable of working.
Not tried the Alexa integration. (edited)
Initially it charged on the dock, but once I'd attached the brushes it was harder to position, so switched to plugging in directly.
Anyone worked out how to connect it to WiFi?
The pairing process in the android app refers you to the manual, but the manual makes no mention of WiFi! (edited)
while charging, press and hold power button until LEDs turn blue & robot says "robot network".
Pairing took about 90s, but after that seems to work fine. (edited)
Btw if it wont charge how is it hitting sofas ? Frustration from you ? 😃
