About this deal

Cheapest price I've seen in quite some time.

Wray and nephew Over proof Rum is the world's top selling, award winning high strength white rum and accounts for 90 percent of all rum consumed in Jamaica where it is an intrinsic part of the culture, tradition and everyday living. Notes of banana and Demerara as well as spice and a little oak. Palate is fruity and a little spirity with long and spiced finish. This is the original Jamaican rum of the Jamaican people. Still made here on the island famous for big personalities and flavours.

Horrible to drink straight for the first time, but is fine after you become accustomed. I wouldn’t recommend this, however, as it makes any mixer taste disgusting.

I would second this, as my dad used to drink this neat and after years of do this, the doctor told him to stop, as it was damaged is esophagus, he would jokingly complain how this doc took away his drinking licence

Great for my fellow Firewater drinkers, cheaper than normal but can go lower in price.

Agreed, I've bought it twice from Amazon for less (£22.50 last year), but that was with max S&S plus with inflation I'm not sure we are going to see at that price again/too often.

Lethal stuff... great for shots when you want to get someone else drunk! Is like paint stripper on the way down.

But cracking deal. Not readily available in most places.

Tesco stock it in many stores, I seem to remember even seeing it in M&S

Really nice drink, doesn't taste strong at all when you mix a double with some Pepsi, so is a little lethal.

Has a lot of flavour and very caramel like for a 'white' rum, but as I learned recently in a rum making class, dark rum is a lie, it's just colouring (The same they add to cola), all rum is pretty much white rum.

For those just starting on their rum/spirit drinking journey, this is great for making cocktails.

May I suggest getting your pint glass and filling it with :
    50% Wray and Nephew
    50% Tiki Fire.

    Enjoy. (edited)

I thought the colour and flavour came from the type of barrels they leave the rum in

Worth leaving a tracker in your jacket for the next evening when you recover enough to look for it
If you're very lucky your wallet will be in it
