About this deal

This is a specialised M2 2230 NVME enclosure - can re-use an old 2230 SSD from a Steamdeck as a storage drive. The whole shell acts as a heatsink. About half the length of a 2280 enclosure. Write protection can be enabled or disabled via touch.

    ok price for uk, but you can get the same thing from aliexpress for around 10 quid and delivered within a week

    OK if you specifically need a tiny enclosure, but you can get full-size (and therefore much more versatile) enclosures that will still happily take a 2230/2242 with equal performance for less.

    I'd say this is between one third and half the size of the sabrent enclosure I have. 3 times shorter, a bit wider.

    It runs hotter than the sabrent due to the lack of a thermal pad.
