How to cook

Oven cook From Frozen

Our Extra Large Fish Fillets in Beer Batter are best oven baked straight from your freezer. Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving. All appliances vary, these are guidelines only. Tip Place Product on a Wire Rack for a Crisp Bubbly Batter 230°C/Fan 200°C/Gas 8 Pre-heat the oven & remove all packaging Cook (on a wire rack) 26 Mins Place on a wire rack over a deep baking tray in the middle of the oven & cook for 26 mins Caution! Care should be taken when removing the tray from the oven as it may contain hot oil.

    Wasn't impressed with these. Quite chunky but not impressed with the batter & taste & I'm normally not fussy.

    It's funny how they don't name what type of fish it is on the front of the box. It's like buying a pot of jam & all it says on the label is jam and nothing saying what fruit it is lol.

    So these "extra large" fillets are just 80 grams of Pollock a piece. So you end up paying almost £11 a kilo for Pollock.

    Over 60 on a Tuesday minus 10% pay on your bonus card minus 5% so £1.50 ish but I agree the Ramsdens is much better. (edited)
