I was tempted by this on the face of it (I took the similar Telegraph offer last year and they offered me to re-subscribe for £48 digital pass for 12 months / £4 a month) BUT for the Times offer you have to give notice 15 days before the end of the 3 month discounted period, if you don't they debit you £26, and as stated above you must phone to cancel. All sounds like too much hassle and a strong possibility of the trial costing £26 on top. I've decided to pass. Terms are too sneaky.
That's good. Before you couldn't.
Yeah, cancelling felt like hostage negotiation. A real pain.
Great deal but You Must call to cancel subscription.no thanks.
Make sure you use your subscriber offer with the spectator free trial with a free picnic blanket or possibly a £20 amazon voucher. Just remember to cancel the free trial
Was tempted but the faff to cancel sounds ridiculous. Sod them.
This is a really good price. I had the £12 for 12 weeks offer. Be aware though, to cancel you have to ring them up and I was in a queue for more than 20 minutes to do this. They don't make it easy for you to leave!
Good deal but last time I had a trial had to ring to cancel, to try to keep you on. Lots of free news via PressReader and your local library
Yep. I’m sure this is a great deal for those not concerned about Murdoch. Not for me though.
Good deal if you want to fund the Murdoch empire

I suspect the sun wanted to sell more papers as well as Lidl trying to grab our Christmas pound.a joint effort if you like. Was good for struggling newsagents too. I see it as a win all round really. Can't see why so much negatively about this offer. I used it yesterday and put the £10 towards wine. Cheers Lidl, sun and hotukdeals 🍷👌 (y) 🎄 :)
Wasn’t able to pick up a paper - local store doesn’t allow phone scans. Poop :/
Wasnt in there
Don't forget to activate the coupons from the Lidl Plus app, e.g current offers include: 20% off all Ocean Sea branded frozen fish which includes cod, prawns etc 15 % off all Taste Of...branded ready meals Amongst many more, check your app, they change every week! It really helps in times like these! :)
Couldn't you buy the paper, scan the code then say you don't want the paper. Could you kindly put it back? This site is all about deals remember?

The Times Digital Subscription - Pay just £13 per month for 6 months - New Subscribers£13
Pay just £13 per month for 6 months, then £26 per month thereafter. Offer not available for current subscribers.
I am a week away from being out of subscription contract. A quick phone call to 'cancellations', and after listening to the spiel about what good value the full price is, politely indicating that I also subscribe to another 'quality daily' so please cancel my Times subscription, and lo and behold the 'only for new subscribers' offers suddenly becomes available to current subscribers, & my current half price deal is extended for another 6 months. £78 for a short phone call is a worthwhile saving in my world.
The times has really gone downhill with their opinionated reporting. For example they recently reported on a black student being harassed by university security. To sensationalise the article they make a fake image of him in a barristers wig and gown and quantified it by stating that a third party once said that he considered studying law.
Those with apple devices can maybe pick up apple news+ which is 9.99 per month and includes Times news and many others. It was free 3 months for me on top of that

Don't need to be told,it's common knowledge, but thanks for asking.
Daily Mail told you that did they?
It's at the end of each article read on the app.
If you can get someone with student beans to look kindly on you it's £20 a year for the web and phone editions. Unfortunately tablet app is the best experience but beggars, or cheapskates, can't be choosers.
Should be, bearing in mind the taxpayer subsidies and the number of copies the BBC buys.

Oh last time you could only cancel fifteen days before renewal . I wont be caught out by these clever tactics...
Times subscribers can treat a friend with 2-for-1 tickets at Odeon Cinemas in the UK - three days a week - every Saturday, Sunday and Monday
My experience of these trials was very poor. 1. My Cancellation would not be accepted by email (despite terms stating I could). 2. I rang and cancelled and despite an email confirming the money was still taken from my account at renewal. 3. My email to ask them to refund and sort out was then ignored. 4. Had to then wait 5 days for my £26 to be returned. Not worth the hassle for the Half price alton towers tickets......
Make sure you cancel I took the offer out to get Alton towers tickets for £10 forgot to cancel and had to pay £26. Stupid me
Cancel after 14 days and before 3 months.

Have had this before. The cancelling-over-the-phone process can be a bit stressy as the salesmen on the other end have a bit more about them than the average and will do everything they can to make you think twice about leaving. Don't fancy talking to those guys again.
My email suggested last day for offer was last night so expire
Answer to my own query: https://www.mytimesplus.co.uk/public/offers/2-for-1-odeon-cinema-tickets-offer
Heat! Excellent newspaper and a no-brainer at £1-a-month for 3 months.
Thanks OP. Can't find any details of the 241 cinema offer, how is that redeemed?
