Mainly because of the confusion of the point of this site. Alot of people vote hot “cheap” stuff despite this being a “deal”. If it was not a good “deal” for this particular product then someone would have said so. Usually voted cold with no explanation due to those who can get a simular thing in lidl or aldi unbranded thing for a fraction of the price. You know, cheap not deal. Drives me bonkers. Don’t take it personally (which is probably advise i need to listen to). Keep posting deals, those who are interested in this brand are watching and appreciate your efforts.
As this is the 36v mower and includes a 5ah battery I feel this is a good deal, why so cold?
Thanks for posting. Recently bought a cordless pole trimmer from Amazon for £122 and after seeing this post bagged myself another battery. Really quick processing received battery the day after submitting claim. Many thanks.
The impact driver kit you refer to cost £124.99 on Amazon during Black Friday / cyber week (I was looking at it myself) and is now £166 - so it feels like it has increased by the price of the free item...
Same. Just got an email saying my free item was shipped... The circular saw
Thanks for posting; we have added your thread to the Highlights pages (highfive)
As DT83 says above, a decent combi drill will act as a drill, hammer drill and driver.
20% off in b&q today seems to include starter packs diy.com/departments/ryobi-one-cordless-1-3a-18v-brushed-percussion-drill-2-batteries-r18pd3-213s/4892210152725_BQ.prd Credit to this post https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/bq-20-off-power-tools-3331933
Only valid on purchases made on 11th November 2019 till 31st December 2019 The choices are all terrible terrible junk, even the led torch is desperately bad (not waterproof and illuminates a tiny spot), but hey it's free.
It looks better than what it actually is, obviously aimed at those who haven't already got a basic Ryobi setup, free tools are those of the lower end of the range. I guess if it was something you were going to invest in anyway then congrats on your free tool!!
I returned that mower to Homebase and they told me they take the chargers and batteries out to avoid people stealing them. Shame the staff don't know that. I even had a conversation at the till when I bought it and said I hoped everything was in the box. What a waste of time!
Just submitted. I bought a mower yesterday so it was good timing... although there were two mowers in stock at homebase, both open and resealed, and sure enough when I got home there was no battery or charger in the box! Swine! Well at least I could claim for the free battery before I return it. When I took part in the Ryobi Christmas promotion they were advertising free 2.0Ah batteries but I actually got 2.5Ah ones so hope it's the same this time...
Half the starter kits will be best suited to a 5ah battery, 2ah in a lawnmower or chainsaw is not great but for a freebie always use for your drill.
Love when they do these promos
Amazon have a trimmer that comes with a battery and charger https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ryobi-RLT1825M13-Cordless-Trimmer-Battery/dp/B0747XL547

Free tool with Ryobi starter kit with £100 spend at Ryobi UK£100
Spend over £100.00 on any Ryobi starter kit, and claim your choice of a free tool or battery. Details in the link from Ryobi UK
Well if you are picking up a kit for yourself or someone else, then its a free tool. I recently paid £50 for the blower and its a damn useful thing to have around. The fan may be the most expensive tool if you were to buy it, at about £55 Bear in mind this offer applies to any starter kit not just the drill kits - this includes lawnmowers, and the gardening kits too as well as the various power tool kits
True, they could of done much better on the prices, but atleast Ryobi let's you get a additional tool all for the same price! (popcorn)
Not being funny, but if you read the text .......
Not being funny but if I look at that pic I think that everything is included on the pic if you buy that drill... it’s even say “One + All” that would be a great offer 8)
Same deal at homebase - prices are disappointing considering the day they can cash in. They can do a lot better but have chosen not too :(
