2M Entertainment and 1M Movies come with £5.49 Sky Store Credit.

They also had Boxes with 3M Entertainment and 2M Movies, but no Sky Store Credit with those boxes.

Pretty much the going rate now

Been surprised how good these are as I picked one up off here for £10

Are these still running 720p?

Good question. I think they are. Though there was some announcement about going up to 1080p. Don't know if this box can do it, but watching Manu Leicester on sky one on the built in app on my LG looked like 1080p to me. Unless the upscaling is better than I thought!

Can you put disney life on the now tv box?

I thought they gave these things away free

The 1st Gen NowTV boxes (white) ran at 720p (interface, Youtube, NowTV streaming)

THIS 2nd Gen NowTV box (black) runs at 1080p (interface, Youtube, apps etc) with the exception of the NowTV app which streams at 720p (app/service restriction)

Old white box runs YouTube at 1080p on mine so any 720p this is a sky / now TV restrictions

Not Netflix nor Amazon Prime on any NowTV device (expectedly so). Very limited app store (30-40 apps) and sideloading of Roku apps has been patched/disabled. A NowTV is brilliant for catchup TV, Youtube, NowTV but that's about it.

Netflix is coming to the Now TV boxes, we’re just waiting for a confirmation of the date but should be before the end of the year..

Tip: whenever buying a NowTV box with a bundled voucher, do hang on to your purchase receipt.

The reason is that the voucher code is - IF YOU READ THE SMALL PRINT ON THE BOX (but not the voucher!) - only valid for use within one year from purchase [ie their database has some arbitrary 'valid until' date associated with each code].

That said if you enter into chat/messaging with the NowTV people [probably in a call centre in Asia] they should be generous/gracious enough to re-issue at least one code with dated proof of purchase [but can get confused/stroppy if asked to extend, ie re-issue more than one].

Picked one up from the B&M at Davyhulme Retail Park. I got the last 2 month Entertainment package, there were a few left with the movies. The Sky Store voucher had unfortunately expired but can live with that.

No free view on this model you need the smart box for that yes runs off WiFi catch up services and apparently Netflix soon
