    Chef for 36 years, the difference in how you grind your beans is literally nonsensical - it’s the quality, roast & freshness of the beans you’re using - trust me.
    A light roast Colombian versus a dark roast Ethiopian is a completely different taste, no matter how it’s ground (just for example).
    Also, for people tempted to use these for grinding spices, be very careful of the water content in your spices - a very fresh clove will taint the blender for life (for example).

    Education m8, I couldn’t give a monkeys either way I’m just sharing my experience that’s all. It’s like saying the most important part of any dish is the cooking, which we all know not to be true. It’s the quality of the ingredients. Every. Single. Time.

    Can’t see from the description but I’m guessing it’s a blade not a burr grinder, in which case the grind will be inconsistent. You’re better off getting a cheap burr hand grinder if you want to make a nicer cup of coffee. (edited)

    Yes think these should be called coffee choppers instead of grinders although still better than using pre ground beans if you are on a budget.

    I've used a blade grinder for my spices for years and it's totally fine. You don't need the spices to be quite as fine or uniform as coffee grinds. I'm sure it would help in a very small way but it's probably not worth it.

    On the other hand I use a very expensive hand grinder for my beans and love it! (edited)

    I’ve found it’s absolutely my fine for the dark oily espresso beans that I buy! so should be great with all coffee beans. Very happy I bought mine 🏻☕️
