Super selfies? Check. A three day battery life? You bet. 5G Connectivity? Obviously. The Pixel 7 has it all. Keeping up with your favourite shows is a dream on the 6.3" OLED display, with features like Real Tone and Cinematic Blur always making sure to capture your best angles. Don't worry about security either - the Titan M2 security chip and built-in VPN help protect your personal data.

5G capability
Say bye-bye to buffering. The super-fast 5G-ready connection zips through downloads at record pace. Stream, browse, and watch whatever you want, wherever you want. Waiting forever for your Instagram feed to load up will be a distant memory.

Immersive screen, with super vivid colour
It’s more of the same dazzling display that wow’d us on the Pixel 6. Just a bit bigger. The 6.3-inch OLED display comes HDR-enabled and has a 90Hz variable refresh rate. Put in plain English (don’t worry, we had to look up half of that too), those fancy numbers and letters mean you get smooth scrolling and superb colour on a clear, bright, movie-style screen.

Dust, drop and splash resistant
The Pixel 7 safeguards you from any little oops, with IP68 water and dust resistance. The screen also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, making it tougher and less prone to scratches.

Your safety is Pixel's priority.
Your Pixel looks out for you with the Personal Safety app. In an emergency, Pixel can automatically call for help, share your location or record a video.

Simply touch to unlock
With face unlock and the on-screen fingerprint sensor, you can instantly log in to your apps and websites without compromising on security.

Make photobombers disappear
Magic Eraser is a real game-changer. With a few taps, you can remove strangers and unwanted objects from pics. Or change the colour and brightness of an object, so that it blends right in. It’s never been easier to forget about your ex.

The camera that makes you feel seen
Real Tone represents more skin tones beautifully, authentically and accurately in photos, videos and Meet video calls.

And… action!
Bring more drama to videos. Cinematic Blurkeeps your subject in focus and blurs the background for a dramatic effect. Hello, Hollywood.

It's everything that a battery should be
Pixel's Adaptive Battery can last over 24 hours. Turn on Extreme Battery Saver, and the battery can last up to 72 hours. And your Pixel charges super fast.

Has anyone traded any device? Do they actually pay the price they say?

Just checking if this is a trick where they slash the price and say your phone has x, y, z issues..

    12 Reduced Prices
12.1 If reduced prices apply, we will contact you to make a reduced offer. If you reject this offer we will return it. Reduced offers will be automatically processed for payment at the new reduced price if we do not receive your response to our proposed offer within 5 days.

Damn, I pulled the trigger on the 6 Pro in the black Friday sales when it was down to £499 at Curry's! Thoughts on the 7 vs 6 Pro, is it worth trying to switch? And does anyone know what Curry's are like with returns? I ordered it on the 23rd 😬 (edited)

Personally I'd keep the 6 pro if you prefer the screen size/resolution bump and telephoto camera setup. I don't think you would notice much of a 'real feel' difference getting the 7. most of the upgrades are embedded in the AI and improvement of power consumption giving better battery life.

Does the phone need to be traded along with the charger / cable it was received in the original pack or just the phone would suffice - without the trade-in value being reduced for not sending the charger/cable?

I bought the Pixel 6 for £299 and its still sealed in the box so I could trade it in and get £338 off (£238 value + additional £100 off) and then sell the Fitbit Versa 4, for say a minimum of £100, so 599-338-100=£161 for a Pixel 7. That's an absolute bargain or am I missing something? I'll also sell my current daily driver which is the Poco F3 so effectively it will have cost me nothing. (edited)

you still bought the pixel 6, so it'll cost you that plus 161 which is still pretty good

Cheers @MrSwitch, just gone for this. £243 for my Pixel 5, plus hopefully £100 or so selling the Versa 4, made this too good to pass. Plus my wife got a Pixel 7 last week and I was getting jealous!

Thanks for posting I've just bit the bullet. Was disappointed at no Black Friday deals but by the time I've claimed the £100 reward and sold the fitbit this will come in as cheaper than the Pixel 6. Bit of hassle but worth it!

Do you think this is the best pixel 7 deal?

    Pixel 7 £599 - Versa 4 £160 - My Pixel 2 £20 - Trade In £100 = £319

I calculated Versa 4 £160, this is what I paid in Black Friday so I can return it. (edited)

Question about the JL trade in, they just have 2 options of working or faulty. My phone is perfectly fine but has scratches at the front with one being deep (still only noticeable when phone is off) so do they usually accept this as fully working? Thanks!
    carling8's avatar
    carling8
Looking at the t&cs these are the sentences applicable to you:

    Screen/LCD not damaged
    Average wear and tear acceptable
Not have significant damage (this does not include mild cosmetic damage or fair wear and tear such as light scratches)
Significant damage will include (among other things) ... deep scratches or dents ....

My guess would be that if you can only see the scratch when the phone is off then you'll be fine. I can see they have a process where they can offer you a 'reduced' price, so I imagine worst case you'll get something a bit lower than the full working price but still significantly more than the 'faulty' price.

Anyone had any bad experiences with trading a old phone in? I went for this deal  last night and plan to trade a iPhone 6s to get the £100 bonus, but have now just seen the ID mobile deal so  thinking of cancelling this and going for that instead

How does the trade in work, do you have to buy the phone and then send old one away?
Also the have say my oneplus 8 is worth (up to!) 140 is that incuding the extra £100? (edited)
    BargainHunta96's avatar
    BargainHunta96
You buy the phone and they'll send you a "trade in kit". Erase your data and send off your phone once you've received the kit. They'll inspect it and get back to you within 5 working day I think it was. I've traded in my phone in the past with Samsung and all was good. Went for the Pixel 7 deal and opted to trade in my S20 FE 5G and I expect no issues at all as the phone is in mint condition. If the value of your device is showing as £140 then you'll get an additional £100, so £240 altogether.

Also is there still enough time to process the trade in? It says claim to be made by 27th Dec, so I assume you have to register your details by then and still have time to post the old phone?
