Features & details
  • POCO F4 GT is equipped with the most advanced 5G platform of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The mobile platform is based on 4nm process technology and includes an octa-core processor running at 3.0GHz. As the most powerful Android chipset, it offers 20% faster CPU performance and up to 50% better GPU performance.
  • To fully unleash the unrivalled potential of the processor, POCO F4 GT packs LiquidCool Technology 3.0, one of the most sophisticated cooling systems in the industry. Even in intense gaming scenarios, which consume tremendous power and generate an enormous amount of heat, 4,860 mm2 dual VC cooling solutions enable stability and maximum performance
  • POCO F4 GT comes with the first POCO branded 120W HyperCharge, and a 4700mAh dual-cell battery. In just 17 minutes the device can be 100% charged. For players, the POCO F4 GT offers fast charging while playing on a 100% 27-minute charge, eliminating low battery anxiety while playing.
  • POCO F4 GT releases new power with magnetic pop-up triggers, which turn the device into a real gaming machine. For avid gamers, triggers offer a controller-like experience and high accuracy. Pop up triggers are designed with magnetic levitation technology and can handle 1.5 million pressures with ease. Tested on more than 100 popular games, the triggers show remarkably stable, responsive and long-lasting performance.

Much of an upgrade over the F3?

    Better SOC
    Better main lens
    More ram
    More storage
    Triggers
    faster charging
    Better speakers
    Higher glass protection
So slightly better than better than the annual increment

If you spot the Xiaomi 12 for around this price I'd be more inclined to grab that, better cams, screen, Qi, finish and fit.

I still have the POCO F1. Thinking of taking it to a shop and getting the battery replaced.

Unlike most Xiaomi phones rocking a 5000mAh or greater battery, this one only has a 4500mAh battery so even if the specs were equal you'd expect it not to last as long - factor in the demanding CPU and it's no surprise the battery life is shorter than many other phones. What I will say is that I have this phone (but don't really use it) and on standby it'll last 3-4 days before needing to be charged, and when it does need doing, it's so quick it will be full again by the time I've had a bath.

Does this have a proximity sensor? The POCO F3 is great but a total POS due to the lack of one. If this has one I will buy it.

Bought this for £399 on Prime Day back in July. It's a good phone, very fast, but the battery drain was horrendous and the battery overall was average. Sold it a few months later for £450.

If your not a gamer then the Xiaomi 12 lite is a pretty good phone, or the 12 ( one of the many variants if there is a deal) as the 13 is on the way. Check out
