A quick heads up, terrible customer care. They don’t respond to emails regarding cancellations, took several months in my case. Would strongly advise against

I wouldn't call 3 bottles a case +sounds a lot of hassle signing up/canceling for 3 bottles that probably only save a couple of quid, I'll just take my £8 to Aldi!

I don't buy wine. So I am not aware of different deals. Can you not cancel via your bank? Because they charge you in advance, so if payment doesn't go through, there is not much hustle.

Had a case from these guys before (reds) and all of them were terrible..not sure if mixed case would be any better but there's a reason they're cheap...on the cancelling aspect I didn't have any issues, just rang and spoke to them, was straightforward.

They’ll likely still have in their T&Cs that you can only cancel by phone 😴 but I managed it before by email

Is the wine in the case any good?

Never tried it myself. Not a wine drinker. I got coupons with my best subscription. Gold tickets getting wasted as I don't post them/lazy

Cold coupon code? Reason I don't post much. 8 quid for 3 bottles of wine is a bad deal apparently. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's not so much the deal, but the company are a pain to deal with so probably why it's cold. They never answer the phone and don't reply to emails so stopping your subscriptions not easy

I tried their introductory case of white wines. They were all too strong in my opinion. I don't ever recall seeing a 14.5% white wine before but there it was, starting menacingly at me.

I had used Beer52 for a while and was fairly happy with those but thought I'd cancel that and the Wine52 for a few months. I had to call two numbers to achieve this.

The Wine52 took 6 minutes on the phone and 4 requests to cancel. They kept trying to entice me to stay.

The Beer52 was a different kettle of fish. The woman who dealt with my request theatrically gasped on several occasions and couldn't believe I was going to give up the accrued credit on my account and a 50% discount on my next case. Her final offer was a free case for doing nothing and I would then have to call them to confirm that I had received the case and wanted to cancel. I told her the purpose of the call was to cancel and if I didn't achieve that it was a failure.

The conclusion is that I won't use Wine52 again as the wines were not to my liking and I probably won't order from Beer52 again (despite having over 30 cases from them in the past) as the cancellation process is painful. You get there in the end but it's like trying to get a toy from an excited dog - tedious.

I've heard calling up and saying you're an alcoholic and you don't want to drink any more is a good way to get them to cancel without hassle.
