Rollover Hotdogs have just been added to the meal deal. As they are £2.80 on there own this is a great saving with a drink and snack. Remember Costa is also included in the meal deal.

Rollover are the worse Hotdogs out there.
While testing various Hotdogs for a future American style Diner, we found these to be awful.
It wasn't so much the taste which was poor, rather it was the jelly like structure to the dog.

Westler's weren't much better and were pricey.

In the end, Costco's own brand "Kirkland" turned out to be the best. Firm, meaty and tasty! (edited)

Does it show the meal deal discount after the relevant items are scanned or do you have to get to the point where you have to pay for it to update with the discounts?
    oldsystem's avatar
    oldsystem
I did ask them to check if it came up as meal deal so presume they totalled as if I was going to pay, but maybe not.

There's another store a bit further away with self checkouts so might try that next time. Like you said, got a feeling it doesn't update with discounts until you press pay. (edited)

Useful to know, although I've only ever paid full price a few times, they're usually marked down.

Worked for anyone else? Wasn't marked as a meal deal so got them to try scanning everything and it didn't take any discount off. (edited)

Apparently rollovers have been removed from the meal deal. Tried today it took 50p off but didn't bring it down to £3.50. Tweeted coop they said no longer included
