BT/TNT premier league contract runs out next summer with Apple, Disney & Amazon joining the bid in October so if TNT lose the contract that means a whole 12 months with no league footy since this is a 24 month deal.

Not true. 2025 the rights go so even if they did lose them you’re covered for this season and the season after.

Can use Totum 15% off as well to take the price to £15.47

Just a heads up I got a message when I placed my order with the additonal 15 % off, and then an email to call them up. They don't want to honour the stacked discounts.

Edit: apparently now they do want to honour them. After they passed it to a manager a second time. Apparently the first manager was wrong and they just wanted to ring me up as a security check. (edited)

If you are a BT Broadband customer and not interested in mobile then currently you can get the TNT Sports etc via a BT TV deal for £12 per month (on a 24 month contract with CPI+ inflation rises). Offer ends on the 17th August.
    Taksim_Red's avatar
It was only £10pm the other week.

How to get this deal actually? There’s no info in description. The link takes me to a page with millions of offers.
    TinplateGeek's avatar
It is in there. Use control F and search for 18.20 and it goes straight to the correct offer.

    BT customer exclusive?
    Username50's avatar

No. It never checks if you have broadband. Been loads of deals on here similar.
  6. ELNIN09's avatar
Does it come with just HD standard, or is the Ultimate channel included also? I can't see it anywhere unless I'm being totally blind.
    Username50's avatar

    Ultimate too.

I'm guessing you would have to put the sim in your phone to access the channels so bit of a pain if you're already all set up with a phone contract and also only have a single sim phone (sadly that's me)?
    Username50's avatar

No you don’t. As long as you have an ee account you log in with the same details.

This is a good deal, but be aware that they are very slow at sending out the SIM card, and you won't be able to watch TNT Sports until you receive the SIM card.

I signed up to EE including TNTs Sport on Monday, specifically so I would be able to watch Arsenal v Nottingham Forest today (using the Discovery+ app on my Sky Stream Box).

However, the SIM card has still not arrived. And there is no way to get the TNT Sports login so I can at least watch what I signed up for back on Monday. So yes, that is right, I now have to fork out £30 just to be able to watch one match. (edited)

I just phoned up the same day and they activated it for me. Sim came two days later it’s still in the envelope.

    Thanks for your order

We need to confirm some details
We'll call you within the next 48 hours to discuss your order "

Did anyone else get that when they put their order through?

Is that because they want me to prove I'm an existing BT customer? (Which I won't be able to!)
    BespinVad_GK's avatar
When I called them about the order as requested the guy I spoke to first went to do a credit check with me before he realised I'd done one online already.
He then put me on hold whilst he finalised my order without asking any further questions.

I was then on hold for 40 mins with him periodically coming back to say they were still working on the order and sorry for the delay.
At one point he asked if the 25GB extra data (I opted for the double data 50GB SIM at £20.30) and the 30% off were things I'd put of or whether they were on the SIM offer already.
I told him they were on the website as part of the offer

He then asked a few mins later if the 15% code was mines (I have a TOTUM membership so had used that) and I replied it was

About 10 mins later he came back and said they were having issues putting all the codes on the order and were doing it manually.

It has to be something to do with the TOTUM code stacking against the 30%.
I also think the guy was new

In the end he got there.
Just before I signed the contract (had to read stuff on my phone and click approve) he asked what broadband I was with.
I said BT (not true, but I knew I'm supposed to be with them for this deal) and he explained that as they'd merged they could offer me a new EE router and better deal.
I politely declined saying I was moving house soon and didn't want to commit to new services till I got there.

That was the only check I had about broadband supplier and it was for sales rather than to make the deal work

So I think the takeaway is if you use TOTUM - expect to have to call and for them to take ages to eventually work out how to stack the code.

Also, if they ask if you're BT. Just say yes but you don't want to buy new things!

Can anyone confirm what the app is like playing the Ultimate Channel ? Getting a lot of reports it's quite bad.
    Crashcox1's avatar
I’ve found on firestick and firetv that the app is rubbish but on my Samsung tv the app is spot on and doesn’t miss a beat
  11. ELNIN09's avatar
Working with Totum code. Not bad for £15+ and can stream on TV also via the app.

So I have an EE sim with a smart add on which has been BT sport. So I went to watch the arsenal game and it said that its now TNT and if I link it to Discovery I get Discovery Plus unlimited. Set it all up and it worked.

Signed into Discover plus on my LG tv and I can watch the Arsenal game in 4K. But my god it would not buffer. Froze every 15 second. Thought maybe it's too much so I switch to the non 4K version of the game. Same thing. Just decided to watch on my BT sport app and it worked fine on the same Internet. (edited)
    123shop's avatar
I had the same issue on my LG TV. Needed up using my laptop.

    Where
  14. ELNIN09's avatar
Yeah, I just checked myself. Totum does work, but it doesn't stack. The sim goes to the full price of £26 and then takes the 15% Totum off. £18 quid, though, still a good deal.

The code is not working now is there another one?
    ELNIN09's avatar
    Totum isn't a code

that seems good just for the extras, can you deffo cast with it though?

    Yes
  17. jack201's avatar
How many devices can watch at the same time for TNT? (edited)
    ELNIN09's avatar
Probably 2, I'd say as that is what BT Sport was/still is.
  18. Toma58uenaventur's avatar
what does this let you access outside of European games?
    BigPro's avatar
TNT Sports has some of the Premier League games - it is just BT Sport rebranded
  19. ED111222's avatar
As soon as I add TNT sports the price shown goes up to full price again for me. Anyone having the same issue?
  20. Taksim_Red's avatar
This would be decent if came with a Sky card.
  21. mjwarbo's avatar
Can you just cast to your TV or actually log into the app on a smart TV and watch TNT Sports that way please?
    Danielle71's avatar
    Both depending on TV OS...
  22. Bradley_RobinsonDM9's avatar
Can you swap it to roam abroad pass for example then back to tnt sports? Or is it for the length of the contract?
    Username50's avatar

    Swap it if you want.
  23. SamWidges's avatar
not a bad deal - unfortunately i do not qualify as an ideal candidate for the schemes aimed at student military etc - i cannot find anything better - i am abit annoyed the eu version of nowtv gives the option for sports extra membership - full price is €33.99 on offer for €16.99 for 6 months and includes tnt sports and premier sports channels or £13.38 for 6 months - i would need a vpn to use the service illegally upon which i am not going to do - i do not want to feel like a man sitting watching the footy with a pair of womens tights over my head - annoying!
    SamWidges's avatar
£13.38 per month is £160.56 if you can get 2 × 6 month deals x2 of 24 months is £321.12 - this is £115.68 cheaper than the ops deal over 24 months - boost should apply to all add ons with nowtv including sports extra
  24. davidk2232's avatar
I guess the 15% is not a deal for everyone?
Can you confirm that you can stream on two devices at the same time with login details? Anyone who has this deal?
  25. roomy25's avatar
Thanks OP. I didn’t get this exact deal as such but just as good and suits me. I was on a sim only deal with EE rolling and on the look out to switch (10gb for ~£11/m). I got a similar offer under their “upgrades” section but it was 25gb for £22 with discovery+. Used my NHS discount to get that down to £17.60 (didn’t even know about the perks until this thread). I’ve paid £25/m extra previously during champions league months for BT sport in the past on top of my usual monthly charge so £17.60 all in with the extra data isn’t too bad. No messing around with switching phone numbers either. Discovery app loads find on iPad/laptop/TV etc although quality of the PSG match on TV last night when I tested it didn’t seem 4K. I have an LG TV with no native BT app so always had to use a Roku stick to stream which I no longer have to do too.

Can you login to a web browser to watch this instead of app? Everyone seeems to be saying app
    Crashcox1's avatar
    Yes you can
  29. davidk2232's avatar
Has anyone received there sim and and activate it and managed to watch on like a firestick or any other device? Another than your phone or iPad?
And it works with 4K channels
    OBH6UK's avatar
Yes, working fine on a Roku Express 4K, including 4K on the TNT Ultimate channel.

You have to sign into the Discovery+ website, so any device listed there should work OK.

Anyone know of any deals just for the Discovery Plus Standard Plan that covers the Cycling and Eurosport and has the Discovery Player for catchup. Normal Price is £59.99 per year.

The GCN+ app is rubbish on my Sony TV so need this option (edited)

Has anyone used Totum code on the 24 month all rounder plan unlimited sim only
    Bradley_RobinsonDM9's avatar
Yes. It's worked for some and not for others, like me. Worth a try, can always cancel whilst you're on the phone to them.
  33. J7M's avatar
Has anyone used Totum code on the 24 month all rounder plan unlimited sim only? With the 30% monthly off too.
  34. fishLuke's avatar
Totum codes seem to be blocked now

Seriously thinking about going for this as it seems to be a good deal for the TNT Sports, I’m hesitant about the 2-year contract though, a lot can change in 2 years!

What if a better deal comes up in a few weeks after I’ve just committed for 2 years?! What if they stop offering the sports I’m most interested in (mainly Italian football and international cricket)?

Does anyone know if there’s any way to escape the contract at any point, for example when they the price up during the contract?

The other annoyance is that you can’t watch it until the SIM arrives, especially with how incredibly slow the post is. Feels like a ripoff when you’ve already started paying.
  36. J7M's avatar
Anyone successful with the 15% totum code with the 24 month all rounder unlimited plan! Including the 30% monthly.
    Bradley_RobinsonDM9's avatar
Some people, yes. Others, like me, no. Really depends who you get when they ring you up to check the order.

    Is this offer still going

I have NHS blue light Card and a Totum Card
Can i use all these together?
    ELNIN09's avatar
The original offer is still available, Totum stacking is not, some was lucky, and some unfortunately not.
  38. ck3245's avatar
Anyone with bt broadband (I don’t) had any kind of check/proof asked for to get this offer?

I’ve gone as far as payment screen and it doesn’t look like there’s anything required but don’t want to port my number if the 30% isn’t going to be applied.

    cheers

I just ordered the 25gb (+25gb free) with TNT Sports and 6 months of Apple TV. A steal I think at £20.30/month. (edited)
    wanderer_forest's avatar
Unsure why expired. Just checked and still available.

Received SIM yesterday. Discount applied so all good. TNT Sports activated. Logged in on TV and all works a treat.

    Fantastic deal

Does Totum code still work on EE sim only deals when stacking 30% discount? If so has anyone got a spare code?
    ELNIN09's avatar
I've just tried, and it doesn't. It cancels the 30% and adds the 15% instead.
