I'd buy from Dell and bump the warranty up to 5 years for £36.

Dell does Advanced Exchange so if issues do occur you'll get a replacement before sending the defective one back. (edited)

as a few have echoed its the same price on the dell website , You can also use code TELEGRAPH5MON for 5% off to bring this to £198.55 without having to use the sign up offer.

    Can this be mounted?

Yes, you can get on-top of it.

I ordered the AOC Q27G2S(224£) and the LG you posted above, the AOC had a better screen, more brighter, more saturated/vibrant) , the LG isn't bad for £210 but I would pay more for the AOC or the dell if it's better (but unsure on the dell)

confused, how do you get sound for this? Is there any speakers that connect to it? Good thing but surprised by the lack of ports..
    ohmygod2006's avatar
Looks like there isn't an audio out. In which case you would can use one of the following:

    hdmi audio extractor
line out/headphone out from your PC to an amp.
    bluetooth speaker
Soundbar that has hdmi pass through.

There may be more options available. (edited)

    16.8 million colours!

So 8 bit panel with no dithering. What is this 2010? 10 bit should be standard.

Sorry is this good or bad? I presume bad?

    Hdmi 2.1?

Does this support ps5 vrr (edited)
    irabbs7's avatar
From the comments on the video review type c tech reviews channel apparently it does according to one of the comments for you console users, that's a game changer for budget monitors at this price as none have 2.1 hdmi and supports vrr (edited)

    This or dell s2721dgf?
    t1redmonkey's avatar
That's basically been discontinued now so kind of irrelevant unless you want to pay double the price of this for one of the few remaining ones.
  13. lukehoskin95's avatar
Same price directly from Dell with Unidays

Tempted by this, can get it for £188 with discount code through work. Not sure I'll miss the extra size of my current aging 32" Samsung

    Cheaper again, very tempted now.

Im torn between this or a samsung g51c which is currently on offer for £198 through BLC, both look very similar except for maybe the hdmi port. Anyone with alot of knowledge on monitors have any ideas.

How does this compare to the Benq EX2780q?
    Alex_H's avatar
This has a slightly better hz. Other than than not much difference on paper. If the same price, get the Dell. If your looking to upgrade, no point.
  21. wingz's avatar
Great price especially when it also comes with 3 years warranty

Any good for office based work in portrait orientation?
Looking for these specs of screen size and resolution, to go alongside Samsung 32 inch in landscape orientation. I work on document production system.

    Hi,

Would this monitor be also suitable for programming and coding?

    Thank you. (edited)
    Drew_Wavy's avatar
Yep perfect for that although some people prefer a larger ultra wide. I have a dual monitor setup so that’s all good

Any reviews from folks on here for this monitor?? Amazon only has 1 and it's bad. I'm looking for a 1440 IPS for my PS5
    ShubzStar's avatar
Got mine yesterday. The default settings on monitor doesn't allow 1440p @ 120fps unless you alter some settings from the monitor (from my testing so far). In terms of quality, amazing! Only thing I do miss from my VA panel monitor is the deep black and whites
  26. spong_miester's avatar
Anyone know is this is easier to run than my current 30" 1080p ultrawide?
    killthegnome's avatar
    Author
It won't be as what your currently running is 2560x1080 so it's lower so you'll get my FPS with what you currently have. What model do you have?
