They had some Portuguese White when I went in the Solihull town branch on Saturday and that was 3.49 and they had loads of it.

£4.88 in Scotland, even for this price it's a steal

Worth buying a few as well as a nice Valpolicella Ripasso Amarone. Crack the Chianti for any guests, hide the Valpolicella in the cupboard and sneak that for yourself. Perfect

I've had this previously at full price and found it to be very pleasant. It's not the most interesting Chianti but at this price it's a bargain.

Decent, managed to grab a case this morning. With the current price rises you cant be fooled at the £3.50 mark. Clear the shelves people!

Does anyone know where we can see which ones are coming up next?

    Thanks OP.
Grabbed a couple this morning in Reading, almost forgot to look.
Loads on the shop floor, but no price labels, had to ask for a price check at the tills.

It's red wine, it's got alcohol in it, put a clothes peg on your nose and quaff it

    Unquaffable....

Can't seem to find this one on Vivino app, so was wondering if anybody had tried it (I like it not too dry or acidic).

    Thanks.

Worth buying a few at this price. Saw a £2.99 Bordeaux last Christmas and regretted only buying 3.
This will be better than the Sainsburys Merlot that was going for £3.25 and was as rare as a Flamedeer. (edited)

What does it taste like? Paint stripper?

Got 3 bottles today from the Bidston Moss store. A few remaining on the shelf.
Hope it tastes ok, but if not we'll use in cooking or for mulled wine (edited)

I bought 6, opened one yesterday.. wish I hadn't bought 6.. Im getting dirty socks / pepper / cardamon

Will be used for cooking or gifts to people I dont like.. maybe after 24 hours of breathing it will improve but even at £3.49 its not one for me.. at full price its a full waste of money

Starting to learn my lesson on these deals on wine.. they generally are very poor
