quidco is deplorable. they are always finding 100 reasons not to pay you the bonus (promo) cashbak.
last year (during BF) I lost like 40quid just because I trusted them. Con artists. (edited)

Same. Last year I bought an air fryer from Argos for £100+ and didn't get the £25 bonus

I spent £190 at Argos a couple of days ago and was offered some bonus of other. I don't understand all this cashback malarkey so I tried to wade through the small print and it seems you not only agreed to being emailed with offers but also paying £15 pounds a month for access to these special offers. I was amazed that such a detail was in the small print. I think it may be cancel any time so if you cancelled immediately you would see £5 which did not seem worth the risk. I don't know for sure is the same offer but sounds as if it might be you would have to have a serious Argos habit for such a loyalty scheme to be worth it.

That's complete savings and it can be a hassle but it's not half bad. Cost 15 a month but if you make a purchase through complete savings once a month you claim it back, plus they offer a small range of gift cards, up to the value of £100 a month, but you get 20% off. Plus they offer usually around 10% back on hundreds of websites

Anyone tried paying part of it with gift card? Would that still be eligible? Can't see anything in T&C about it
    CaptainObvious's avatar
I did it and it’s tracked for the full amount including gift card element

Got coaxed back to Quidco with various incentives and bonuses. Nothing ever tracks. Back to Topcashback for me. Waste of time.
    Fulhamboy's avatar
It is fantastic for me. I am obviously doing it right.

There were three this time last year. Two X £25 and one x £20 I think.

    All paid out for me.
    Roygroyg's avatar
Yeah got all 3 too although one was very short lived on BF itself as they replaced £20 with £25 mid morning. If you had opted in to first you could also do second one same day. (edited)

100 including vat? Anyone have experience with argos and quidco for cashback ?
    luvclub's avatar
Yes, these Quidco Bonuses with spending thresholds are always based on the amount spent including vat (but excluding shipping), even though the regular cashback might still be calculated based on the price excluding vat (the amount shown as tracked).

My last 5 argos buys thru quidco all tracked and have all paid out.

    Roger that
  9. Parappathepappa's avatar
They're obviously going to have a bigger one after midnight Thursday/Friday

With the nectar points, 7.5% cashback and £20 bonus, you're looking at £40 saving on a £200 spend. Not too bad!

The 250 Twinkly lights are on offer at the moment for £66.66 - buy two packs for £133 and get this £20 bonus back! (edited)
    CaptainObvious's avatar
    That’s a total of £113
  11. jaju123's avatar
Did this the other day with the £20 off £100+ on microsoft store offer. Used a dedicated browser with tracking enabled. Didn't track at all so far.
    CaptainObvious's avatar
Microsoft transactions are notoriously slow to track.
  12. C0mbat's avatar
I've only used one opt in so far this BF. That was with Wayfair and Quidco declined it. Is anyone else getting their opt ins tracked or is this all a big fraud?
    thunkpad's avatar
Did you use a non Quidco code or any other offer? That's usually the reason for a rejection. Sometimes not using the standard check out can cause an issue (such as using PayPal, gift cards or reserve and collect), buying excluded items (often gift cards or Apple products are excluded) can catch you out or in some cases the minimum spend excludes VAT and/or delivery so you may need to spend £120 + delivery to meet a £100 minimum.
  13. jayjay266's avatar
Lol nice try, Quidco. Not falling for that again!
  14. dzondotcom's avatar
Don't waste your time, Argos never pay on Quidco.
  15. mark_cunningham's avatar
Does anyone know if a single item purchased has to be £100 plus or can you still get the £20 bonus for buying several items that in total comes to £100 or more?
    Roygroyg's avatar
Got similar one last year ok buying a few items to get over £100 - as long as together on single order and payment. Just avoid additional codes and gift vouchers. (edited)
  16. MrsMeguy's avatar
Gave up in Quidco ages ago too as there were too many disputes. Never had a problem with Topcashback.

Use quidco and TCB. Over 3k in CB thru quidco in 10 years. Plenty of good size CB amounts with quidco TCB don't even track half my purchases. Claims just go silent. At least with quidco they track almost immediately, get an email too, claims also go on list immediately. Given up with TCB. I guess we all have different experiences. It can be hit and miss. But I'm over 3k up since using CB sites. Win win.

    Gonna allow this.

    These jokers never cough up.

    Kindest regards.
    Fulhamboy's avatar
Do for me most of the time.

Good find, takes ages for a bonus to be paid though. Still awaiting £15 bonus from Aug
  23. TwoJs's avatar
Tbf most bonuses have paid out for me, when I have used them.

I just had a claim confirmed as well going back to February, paid out along with the £5 bonus, so that was a nice surprise !!
  24. secondarymotor's avatar
Silly question....cashback should pay out even if we collect the item(s) and it's not just for delivery, right?
    CaptainObvious's avatar
Not silly at all. Pay and collect is fine.
  25. Venkey's avatar
    No potential deals on Argos

    Any suggestions pls (edited)
  26. mrman007's avatar
Wow great Cashback. I must say over the last 6 months I have had alot of purchases I've had to manually track after and have lost them. ALL with insurances!! Non of the rest. I've been using Quidco for a decade and have earn a couple of pennies. VERY WIERD!! Fantastic deal OP Thank you
    Roygroyg's avatar
Insurances seem a big gamble - had some nice payouts but also only decline I couldn’t trace back to genuine fair reason (was on TCB on that case). Very wary of them now and take lots of evidence and don’t factor them into end choice in anyway.
  27. blahblahblah1234's avatar
Nice for bonus for anyone planning to spend £100 at Argos anyway. (edited)
    Fulhamboy's avatar
You need to spend 100 or more
  28. Usman_Dar's avatar
How long do argos usually take to track?
    thunkpad's avatar
My Very cashback and bonus from yesterday is already tracked.
  29. RaichuCx's avatar
Can i just buy a gift card to use later?
    andiron87's avatar
Risky area. Firstly it's cashback so 50% chance it will pay out, then it's Quidco so further 50% chance and then you're buying a "restricted" product so in case of any claim etc. it's a perfect reason to reject it. See above how many unhappy customers.

Safer to buy elsewhere like cardyard, swipii etc. - you know you definitely get discount as you pay less.

Ach just bought a ps5 last night

Submit a NEW order, and cancel / return last nights order.
  31. Jodeyb's avatar
Does anyone know if this will work if paying with nectar?
    CaptainObvious's avatar
I just used a £100 gift card and it’s tracked for the order amount, so I’m guessing it should be ok.
  32. Dannyefcfan1's avatar
Again, I hate that you can't get cashback with giftcards!
    CaptainObvious's avatar
You can understand why. You’ll get it when spending them though.
  33. moremoney4beer's avatar
Gave up on Quidco because it stopped tracking and everything had to be disputed before getting the money transferred 👎
    dzondotcom's avatar
    eBay and cdkeys tracks,
AbeBooks didn't (like Argos, but I'm sure Argos will not pay because I had one 100% valid claim which was refused for no reason)

Damn. Could have used this 2 days ago.
    Maaark's avatar
If you've got the spare cash/credit, do the old re-buy and return the new one on the first receipt?

Guess what you bought would still have to be in stock and not £20 more expensive now. (edited)
  35. FleetFanatic's avatar
    Quidco? Yeah I'll pass.
    CaptainObvious's avatar
    Thanks for letting us know.

    Excellent deal well done.
  37. mr_j87's avatar
So many times I've opted in to Quidco deals like this and not once have I got the extra cashback.
  38. MrOrangeJuice's avatar
Quidco have gone down the pan, majority of the time it gets declined - i only use topcashback now.
  39. Stevio's avatar
Thanks.... Was buying a bed today, (delayed purchase to qualify for x5 Nectar points) & saw this post. Quidco's 20% off furniture link worked, tracked for £7.20 & associated itself with the £20 bonus within 4 hrs...
Have to wait till the end of March next year for any actual pay-out, but a free unexpected extra £27... Happy Days.

TCB were only offering 0.85% which would not have paid as they did not carry the 20% voucher which was used. (edited)
  40. yas212's avatar
haven't used quidco for years. Do they normally take so long to track cashback? TCB tracks within 5 minutes most of the time.
    CaptainObvious's avatar
It’s down to the retailer on how long it takes to track. Mine tracked for this in about an hour or so.
