Remind the retailer they are liable for up to 6 years under Consumer Rights Act 2015 and as this is a premium product you will be would expect it to last in excess of 10 years. Demand a pro-rata refund or a repair at their expense. When they refuse say you'll issue a summons in the County Court if they don't play ball and you will seek costs and if needed issue a warrant of execution. Keep all correspondence and head letters, web chats and emails with "WITHOUT PREJUDICE SAVE AS TO COSTS". That way any negotiations in emails etc can't be used in court against you but you can prove you've tried to settle without court action so costs more likely to be awarded in your favour.
The retailer won't want to go to court as they will loose if you've been reasonable and it'll cost a lot more in time, money and reputational damage than a reasonable settlement.

Manufacturer cashback deals tend to be that way. They're just a way to keep the sale price high so that they can discount it when the cashback ends and say '£100 off!' even though you could have got money off before, you just had to claim it.

Hence no conicidence that this begins just after Black Friday discounts ended and will end when post-Christmas sales are about to begin.

Sonos can't touch the Samsung Q930C, I have the Q930B from December 2022 Samsung promotion, worked out at £399.98 after cashback. The soundbar is amazing, Dolby Atmos/DTS content is phenomenal. The rears, sub and soundbar complement each other. Easy to setup and calibrate the sound balance. Only downside is the music playback is good, but not amazing. But try out Tidal subscription and there are many old and new tracks mixed in Dolby Atmos, once you listen to them you don't to go back to normal stereo. (edited)

On the Samsung FreeStyle 2 page it says you get £200 cashback, but on the cashback claim page it only says £100. Its good, alas not bright projector

Unfortunately best deals were yesterday. Available directly from Samsung for £749. With £300 cashback, prob still good value completed to others under, £500. If entitled, e.g. BLC, their partners site can save you another £75

Are you using the serial number from the box or from that projector itself? The one on the box will be a letter short - you need to use (and take a picture of) the one on the projector itself.

The monitor is an incredible deal. The Multiport is good value considering it's the Samsung one - but there are cheaper third party ones.
