You could use the digital link here below to get the PDF metro, which contains maccies vouchers

This link is to Fridays edition, however late today/ tomorrow you can get today's edition

I have used the barcodes scanned at the self scan in maccies before ( ages ago though)

The old metro vouchers stopped working at the screens and you had to go to the counter with a physical voucher. Will need someone to test and confirm if that is still the case.

The major chains are becoming desperate with localised offers in every major city. Customer preferences have switched to smaller chains or independent stores for their fast food or coffee. Starbucks, McDonald's and KFC are struggling in major cities.

Just a reminder that you can get a whopper for £2 on Wednesdays via the Burger King app. I always buy one for my partner. She says that having eaten the BK burgers, she can’t go back to McDonald’s.

Last time I had a Burger King burger the burgers were the texture of hockey pucks and the staff didn't understand how to deal with app orders. Never again.

Do you use the same maccies each time? I have been to a few different Maccies whilst travelling and some maccies that aren't as busy serve Luke warm food, the busier ones I tend to get scorching hot chips from

9 times out of 10 you'll be fine putting it in the kiosk without handing in a voucher. May on the odd occasion be a jobsworth manager behind the counter who asks for it to be handed in if you're really unlucky.

its all common sense and economics, Should the staff spend 1-2 min in insisting on collecting the voucher (for a order which is already prepared) or look to serve next 4-5 orders (valuing ~ £30+) in same 1-2 min (edited)

I put the code into the kiosk and made the order but the woman who served me asked me for the voucher from the Metro. I told her it was on my phone and thankfully she still gave me the McPlant burger and then said I needed to hand in the voucher or they would not give me my food.

Those were her words but she meant other people may not give me the food in future. (edited)

Just got this myself. Couldn't apply it through the app, but I was able to add it through the in-store scanner. Wouldn't let me apply other offers alongside it though.

Didn't try without using my one-time code, but it may work...

They called my number and I picked it up. No mention of handing in a voucher. I imagine nobody can be arsed to ask.
