    £4.45 at five of my locals, yet 20 miles away at hartlepool, they have 'top plates low rates' where the small breakfast is £2.09 and traditional breakfast £3.14 also the lower price breakfasts in Billingham, Norton, Stockton, Peterlee (edited)

    Bacon comes in pre cooked, dunno why they bother reheating it at my local as its always cold by the time it arrives.

    Some people in spoons actually pick up dirty mugs when its busy and then go to ask for a clean mug. Gotta admire the cheek lol (edited)

    Spoons is so hit and miss. My local is the worst spoons in the uk. They try to toast bread in the microwave. Go five miles up the road and its night and day.

    you are very much right , myself i go to 3rd furthest away spoons to me and the food is always much nicer ,, i am not sure if its because of the management or more likely the kitchen staff who care more about the food they serve to customer

    This offer has been on for months in Newport spoons.....I go for the the traditional breakfast...I think it's even better value @ £3.14
    The other offer that's been on is the all-day brunch - 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, beans & chips including a soft drink ( 500ml bottle of Kopparberg strawberry & lime zero is my choice ) for the grand sum of £4.81...amazing! (edited)

    The All Day Brunch is only £4.81 with a soft drink. The alcoholic drink version is an extortionate £6.28 lol

    My tipple of choice is Brewdog Hazy Jane which is normally pretty much a fiver by itself. I like Elvis Juice which is stronger and dearer but daren't (medication issues!) go near it. (edited)

    If anyone doesn't have this cheap promo at their local spoons then maybe give the beefeater or brewers fayre a try for breakfast. It's £9.99 for an unlimited cooked breakfast, continental breakfast, juices and hot drinks. If you have a couple of kids (they eat free) then it's just £3.33 each! Now I think that's better than any spoons breakfast but that will only suit some folks.
