The grass really is greener with this LG QNED75 TV. Its Quantum Dot NanoCell technology means your favourite movies and TV shows are bursting with richer, more lifelike colours. The a5 AI Processor Gen6 is the brain of the TV. It uses AI upscaling to enhance the picture and sound quality of older content into 4K resolution. Plus, AI Sound Pro is on hand to make sure those classic movies sound as good as they look. And Filmmaker Mode turns off any picture processing that can make movies look unnatural, so you can enjoy them exactly the way the director intended.
Good to know
- Access all your favourite apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and loads more via LG's webOS smart platform - Game Optimiser fine tunes your settings so your games run smoothly and look and sound their best – the competition won't stand a chance - AI Acoustic Tuning uses the mic on your remote to tweak the TV's audio settings based on the size and shape of your room ______________________________ Please note: Some apps & services (including tuner) are only available in the UK. Apps & services may be removed or no longer supported by third party content providers at any time. What's the difference between qled and qned?
C0mm0d0re_K1d
Sorry this is a bit long winded to explain.
It's just marketing names by LG and Samsung for what is very similar technology to do almost the same job.
Just to add further confusion. Sony also have their own nano/quantum coating/filter marketed as "Triluminous" - sony.co.uk/ele…tvs
QLED (according to Samsung) stands for Quantum Dot LED, meaning that there is an extra layer of nanocrystals between the LED backlights and the viewing screen.
QLED TVs utilize an extra layer of red and green crystals to produce more pure and saturated colors than a plain LCD.
Samsung call their qled TVs with mini led back lights "Neo QLED".
LG's equivalent to qled is Nanocell
LG's equivalent is their Nanocell screen paired with mini led back lights and marketed as QNED.
QNED (according to LG) stands for Quantum Nano-Emitting Diode, and QNED Mini LED TVs use tens of thousands of miniature LED diodes to illuminate an LCD screen.

How does this TV compare with the LG UR91?
C0mm0d0re_K1d
There almost identical apart from a few things.
Both are 50/60Hz VA panels.
UR91 is 8bit. Qned75 is 8bit+FRC.
The UR91 actually supports more HDR modes.
This qned has LG's equivalent of a QLED filter.
The UR91 only has 3 x hdmi 2.0 ports and this Qned has 4 x Hdmi 2.0
