I added the watch to the basket as normal but change the strap from the default strap colour to say the default strap indigo colour. When you go to the basket it should now give a discount on the strap taking the price to £272.13

Just a reminder to everyone to send your trade in ASAP mine said needs to be returned by 01 Jan 2024 (will obviously need to bear in mind any delays in post due to Christmas break).

What is worth noting is that once your returns parcel is scanned at the post office, that flags Samsung's system as "device on the way". So I'd say as long as it has been posted before 1st January you should be good.

Past experience also tells me that they won't look to deactivate or charge you on the 1st - ages ago I ordered a phone & watch, trading in one of each. Phone arrived next day, watch took three weeks, yet they still expected both trade-in devices on the same date.
A quick conversation with their online team soon sorted that little issue out

Probably my last update on this thread as I've taken delivery of items, had cashback approved etc.
A little earlier I used the shops online chat and arranged for the two eco-leather bands to be returned (one each from my two orders).
No questions, all raised and I have DPD returns labels.

definitely worth upgrading to one of the d-buckle leather straps. normally £70 on their own, but will only end up costing 2-3 quid more because of how its calculating the strap discount. think it was working out to £125 net after topcashback and the £75 claim cashback.

I was hesitant about ordering last night but pulled the trigger today. It came out even less than I expected, £169.08 for the 47mm Classic, bluetooth edition. (I had £6.42 in reward point that I redeemed)

Quidco confirmed it tracked cashback at at 3.3% of £213.50 giving another £7.03 off

There's still the £75 cashback to claim taking it down to £87.05?!

I believe it will still work. They are asking to see the product model name on a receipt and the serial number of the device. Doesnt matter what order number you have. If you have 2 different products (black and silver watches have different product codes) then I believe you can claim twice with different serial numbers. No where in their terms and condition does it state "1 product per order).

I'd try again, I ordered two watches, the standard one and the classic one, the standard watch order got cancelled after about ten minutes of putting the order in, something about the order being a security risk... anyways i went to put the order in again, at this point the watch was showing out of stock, tried again after a while, order went through, no cancellation email yet and its been a couple of hours, supposed to be delivered this saturday so hopefully it'll go smoothly now...

47 arrived today. I think folk were right to go for the smaller version, at least if you have slightly smaller wrists. I like it from the top, but the space between the wrist and the strap from the side looks a bit ridiculous 🤭

I know the deal has expired, but I managed to order a black 43mm to arrive tomorrow. All straps are pretty much oos except for one. Gutted I'll have less battery but can't argue with fashion

Will see how it looks and maybe return the original (hoping I can keep the strap I bought though). Worst case sell on eBay

Arrived yesterday, here it is, in all its glory

And yes, as others have already pointed out, those are the box seals inside the box, this is the one bit I'm actually quite furious about, it makes it easy for people to use the watch for a bit or do whatever with it then sell it on as brand new and sealed, this is utterly amateurish from Samsung and unacceptable quite frankly.

I wanted to give a massive shoutout to the OP @Tarlok_Kharpal and to the person who posted that extremely helpful twitter video (I can't find your name sorry looks like your comments may have been removed, but thank you!!).

After all is said and done the Watch6 40mm has cost me around £125 and the classic 47mm version around £100, minus the ok'ish money I'll get for the fabric strap that came with the classic and the sale of the current galaxy watch (first version) I have, that'll sweeten it even further

I found the 43mm too small coming from the 5 pro.... so then orderd the 47mm. 47mm has more to show on the screen and bigger battery.

Ordered 47mm on the 14th for £175 ( remove strap and referral code). Received today on the 18th, cashback approved instantly and got a choice of 3 rewards which would reduce my cashback, one of them was a £240 27 inch monitor for £70 of the cashback. Went for that instead as might use, didn't even know that was an option?

Yeah, that's what I don't understand - how did the 47mm work out cheaper? When I look at my order, it's as though the Watch 6 47mm Bluetooth I ordered, is coming without a strap, just the free fabric strap and that's somehow made it cheaper? I actually selected a D buckle strap but it's not showing in the order? Not the end of the world as I have spare straps from my Watch 4 I can use.
