About this deal

Hey Guys
My first post here. I have been looking at the Sage Bambino Plus for a while now, it has usually been RRP of £399 and even in BF sales didn't drop too much.
I managed to find this deal on the Sage website for £329.95.
However, if you sign up to the blog/newsletter at Coffeeblog.co.uk you get a further discount of £49.95 (at least that is what I got!) bringing the total price to just £280, which I think is a cracking deal.
I used this code in case it works for you, or it might be a unique one for each email address when you register for the newsletter.
The code usually comes in an hour or so
Here is a code which may work: coffeebloguk-MEmSSGLJFo
Sage Discount Code
If you're in the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Switzerland (and most other European countries) and you're thinking of buying any Sage coffee machine or grinder (or any other product from Sage Appliances) I have an active discount code that works so you might want to drop me an email. Click here to join my “Brew Time” mailing list, and then email me (kev@coffeeblog.co.uk).
Enjoy!

sorted bycurrently have a Nespresso Essenza mini - works well enough, small, easy to use and I use biodegradable pods from Caravan/Grind. I normally drink lattes with oat milk - at most one a day when at home. I've been a bit let down with the consistency of late so looking at an upgrade.
Considering the Lavazza Desea pod machine as that has the frother built in ...
OR looking at a jump up with a Sage Bambino (normal or plus version)
BUT I'm worried if the setup is too much for me - e.g. time to skill up in frothing milk (I hear oat milk is not as easy to heat up with the wand), effort to clean, additional tools and expense - e.g. do I need a proper tamper, do you need to have a separate grinder with a Bambino etc
Anyone out there with one of these machines using it for a daily cup of Joe with a simple / consistent workflow and without too much additional costs on top? (edited)
The Plus also comes with pressurised and non-pressurised baskets so it is a gateway machine to the higher end of coffee if you want to enter it, but also remains very simple and quick to use if you'd rather stick to basics. I can't recommend it highly enough; for me the automated milk and inclusion of both baskets is enough for me to pay the extra for the Plus. It also makes coffee in a matter of minutes as opposed to other machines taking their merry time to heat up and brew! In terms of taste and quality it blows cheaper machines out of the water and is a lot of quality for the cost when you consider other similar spec machines.
To answer your other questions - the plus comes with a tamper which is of decent quality and all equipment you require to make a decent brew. I do not currently possess a grinder myself and instead just buy espresso ground beans from reputable online sellers (Redber being my personal favourite, or Strangers).
I use mine multiple times daily and it costs me no more to run than my previous low quality/cheap coffee machine. One of the best purchases I've made in recent times hands down.
Also …. Can’t decide on colour! Any more photos of the black stainless steel version would be appreciated …
I usually let it froth the milk automatically which it does well. Not sure how important but I descale every 3 months and use the water filter.

After ordering the Bambino Plus (and Smart Grinder Pro), I just felt that I will likely regret not going "all in" and just getting the Sage Dual Boiler. So I just changed my Bambino Plus order for the Dual Boiler.
My general experience in life is I end up buying twice whenever I try and save money, so I decided to just go for the better machine now
Also ordered the Smart Grinder Pro, for £178
So £433 all in.

Chuffed with mine. Picked up an open box one for £245.99 the other week
I'm gonna have to consider the silver s/steel one or perhaps the black s/steel
FELLOW ODE BREW GRINDER Gen 1 £255
Eureka Mignon Manuale £200 to £300
BARATZA ENCORE ESP £160
Would the Bambino Plus be a big jump up in quality vs a Nespresso machine? Been rocking the Nespresso for approx 5 years.
Also, I’m looking to cut down on the habitual coffee shop run EVERY day (Monzo spending insights was an eye opener!). If something like the Bambino can deliver similar or better espresso….
The Bambino plus will deffo give you shop quality coffee
Got a Mignon Manuale to go with it for 199.
Wow, black version for 299 minus 15pct is amazing. (edited)
Before purchasing this an espresso machine would probably last me until just out of warranty,
It failed the first time so tried with another card and it worked.

£255 for a Bambino plus, lovely job OP.
Went for the blue bambino.
leave a reply if you use it to let others know, as it’s single use
I've been drinking filter for the last few years so hoping my Wilfa Uniform grinder will pair ok with this...
As someone else posted, I think the coffeeblog discount is automated as got mine immediately after emailing.
