Anyone know if it is the Groupon offer that is valid to 31/03/2024 or do the tickets need to be used by then?

    The tickets

Skip, you can only choose from cheapest seats - made the mistake last time. Have a look at Fever, the voucher they give works on vip seats also.
    jg213's avatar
Yeah, ain't the super saver seats the ones at the front of the screen?

Great price. Wowcher we’re doing these last year and they were even cheaper ( I think there was a 10% ) unfortunately they have stopped doing them this year.
    Thanks Chanchi, great deal.
    Happy New Year to you!

Thanks - a good deal and nice you can use them in all Vue cinemas including central London.

A handy link is this to check if you're not sure whether you've used a voucher or when it expires:

I vowed never to go to VUE again years back. Long queues, unhelpful staff, It was like customer service was a weak afterthought. And considering it was usually at least £12 a ticket just a rip-off. And even on 2 for 1 it was bad value. This was Croydon Purley Way so not sure if it was a location thing or a company thing.

Massively improved. Recliner seats and refurbs in majority of the cinemas. Tickets are priced from 7.99 to 9.99 (imax is priced higher). Could be a location thing. (edited)

When it opened for me it offered a further 15% for new accounts to a max of £50, although it did say some deals not included.
    The promo code was WELCOME

My local Vue doesn't have recliners but standard tickets are £4.99 to £6.99. Also unlike Cineworld, Vue no longer charge a booking fee for online bookings, in fact it's cheaper to book online. I never understood why it was cheaper to go and get a ticket in the cinema compared to buy online.

I would say give them another go. Since the pandemic cinema attendance has gone down so it's unlikely you would see long queues. (edited)

Another tip is if you create an account you can easily cancel your booking online and get a full refund (with a bit of notice - can't remember off hand what the timeframe is). I had to do that the other day as I booked the wrong day, it's very straightforward.

If only there was anything worth watching! Haven't seen any films the last couple of years I'd pay to see!

Films I'm looking forward to seeing in 2024 (and will pay to watch with a few maybes) in order (top is most anticipated):

    1. Sonic 3 - The last 2 Sonic films have been right on the money for me and I love the Franchise!)
    2. Wicked: Part 1 - Hoping to see the theatre production this month or next month... depends on how busy I am... but will go based on reviews as I'm hoping it isn't a Cats kinda PoS...
    3. Deadpool 3 (need I say more)?
    4. Venom 3 - Kinda wary but also kinda looking forward to it
    5. Inside Out 2 (will be based on reviews)
    6. Kung Fu Panda 4
    7. Madame Web

    Final two are HEAVY maybes...
    Stephen_petrou's avatar
You'd go and see all them before killers of the flower moon ,oppenheimer and wonka ? The last venom was one of the worst films I've ever seen, give that a swerve
  12. brendonhope3's avatar
    That’s a handy deal.

If I was to purchase the 10 voucher, can this be used multiple times or the whole voucher is claimed at the time of booking?
    bagga212's avatar
    Individually
  17. Dealspotter1's avatar
Cracking Deal works out around £3.70 after TCB per ticket and if you have a location with reclining seats close by and the selection of films you are interested in before the tickets expire

Went to Harrow Vue few times. Quality was not great at all. Is that normal? Any good Vue with decent quality anywhere?
    stevereys's avatar
Last time I went to Harrow vue they kept checking who was in cinema with night vision binoculars got annoying throughout the film

This is one of the worst deal by Groupon….anyways these ticket costs £4.99 as it’s super saver and they don’t get sold on…so with help of Group on, it’s a mind game to sell this..3 rows in front of screen are super saver just in case anyone wants to in know
    stevereys's avatar
Them seats really hurt your neck. Was in the front row and was unbearable even when reclined

I've bought the Groupon and trying to redeem the codes on Vue website, it lets me add the code and shows that it's applied, but doesn't actually discount the price? Can anybody help please?

51923883_1.jpgNot sure what I'm doing wrong? It seems to be accepting the codes but not applying any discount. (edited)

Vue gone down hill hate the seating they have now feels like Ryanair when booking a ticket.
  29. CenturionConstruct's avatar
I have a question. If a Vue cinema film showing is going to be almost empty, is it sensible to buy the worst/cheapest (£4.99 super saver) seats and just sit anywhere you want at the actual showing, or do/would the Vue staff actually check if you are sitting in the correct seats, and reprimand/punish you or throw you out if you are not? Has this happened to anybody? Is it worth the risk to save some money or should I pay the £2+ more for better seats in case they check?
    bvmjain's avatar
No staff have ever checked that people are sitting in the correct seats at Cinemas. Same is true of Odeon & Cineworld who introduced VIP seats some time ago.
It's only an issue for sold out screenings - as obviously, you would be in someone else's seat.
It's simply a way of price gouging & taking advantage of people who are inexperienced - non regulars.
Screen surfing (watching one film & then watching another in a different screen afterwards, is also pretty standard behaviour - although I suspect you have never done that too !!! (edited)
