I’ve never received a hot McDonald’s, collection or delivery

I have found most McDonalds store prioritise orders for delivery rather than in store customers. One tip is to customise your burger, more chance of it being hot as it is made to order.

Anything frozen has preservatives and that’s why once cold they go funny and also don’t taste well and majority of the people don’t enjoy the bite. Same holds good for all sort of chicken meals burgers sold by various businesses what so ever the name is. Indeed they smell nice once served hot but smell awful after a while. (edited)

No. Completely wrong. Freezing things mean you don't need to use preservatives. Non-frozen food is much more likely to contain preservatives.

Thanks OP for this deal and I would also.like to thank in advance all those people who say the foods crap; its bad for your health and of course those who say they miss the old £1.99 surbey/metro paper deal. And there will be of course all the other moans and groans that I have forgotten to include but please do tell me what I have forgotten to mention as I especially enjoy the ones done with a bit of wit or dry humour

P.S. I have actually found a McDonald's that does constantly fresh hot food but yes most of them are not.

P.P.S Are there any other businesses out there like Mcdonalds that are so bad and yet still make huge profits (excluding Mcdonald's rental profits)?

EDIT: that double paste never happened (edited)

    You can say that again....

McDs deals always seem to bring out the crazy people.

    No triple cheeseburger... Sad.

    Best thing on the menu

Absolutely crap service and food, to focused on Uber Eats deliveries

If they could quit it with these daily deals and just make their meals a more reasonable price, I'd prefer that. Ok, thank you.

I'll have a word with Ronald for you, see what we can work out.

Not really a Maccies fan, but there breakfast is simply win, I only tend to go for breakfast or a happy meal ;).

Breakfast is great - Take a sausage and egg muffin.

    Pork Sausage Patty;
Ingredients: Pork (97%), Salt, Dextrose, Herb and Herb Extract, Glucose Syrup, Spice, Yeast Extract.
That's literally the best you'd ever get from fast food.
    EGG;
UK or Irish sourced egg produced to Lion Quality standards or equivalent.
N.B. Cooked in the restaurants using Liquid Vegetable and Dairy Fat Blend (see ingredients below) which contains MILK.
Seems they went for a low fat cooking oil, this is meh, but understand why.

The processed cheese is the worst part, and you can ask for none. A McDonalds breakfast is shockingly good and tasty for the price compared to breakfast costs elsewhere these days. My hotel today was £12.50 for breakfast.

I might actually eat 2-3 of these a month, as I spend 4-5 nights on average in a hotel a month. I got egg shell in 3 McMuffins last year, which sucks but happens at best of places that use fresh ingredients.
    Out of 200+

Not unhealthy for me btw, odd diet needs (edited)

Poor deals as ever, they should take a leaf out of kfc book and let you play pinball and win boneless buckets for one or in their case a free meal!
    Jinkz's avatar
McDonald's has around 400 more stores or almost 1/3rd more in the UK alone, I'm sure their marketing strategy vs kfc is sound. (edited)

51985805-VTeXv.jpgAre these deals store specific? I start my app up, says 10 days of deals, I click the go to deal button in the McDonald's app then this is all I get? No offers to show
    Neostar's avatar
That's strange it should show up like this

    Maybe try rebooting your phone

Even at 99p McDonalds doesn’t feel like good value.
    Del49's avatar
99p for something over £4. Don’t go then. Easy.

A cheap way to ruin your health. You'd have to be crazy to consider anything they serve as nutritious food
    wrightstuff1980's avatar
No one considers it nutritious food lol.
  13. phillyboy's avatar
So McDonald's are saying that eating junk food will help you from feeling blue and getting depressed...
Yet every decent scientist in the world will say the complete opposite.
Seems like a good deal though so hot from me.
    Jinkz's avatar
I'm not a scientist so I'm good to go 💪

The vegetable "deluxe' is depressing (edited)
    OwlEye's avatar
It's far better to get the veggie dippers as you get 4 of what you get 2 of in the "deluxe" it's only missing the bread, lettuce and glue (I hate mayo). I'm very surprised dippers normal price is 2.99 whereas deluxe is 4.69!

My blue Monday just got bluer, why no 99p McMuffins?
  21. Quids's avatar
I voted hot because it's cheaper food, but imo McDs give 'fast food' a bad name. Waiting 10-15 minutes for one of their burgers is not fast imo.

Awwww yis, 10 days of £1.49 veggie deluxe incoming! And it'll help me build my stock of £2.99 McPlant and Fries vouchers back up from filling out the Food for Thoughts surveys. Cheers , strong contender for BEST pikachu for my money!
  26. scapton's avatar
Wish they wouldn't have stopped the Foodforthoughts £1.99 big Mac and fries offer. It's now £2.99

  28. davidian84's avatar
6 nuggets £4.69 but 20 for £5.99. In happy meals 4 nuggets is equivalent to £1.49 cheeseburger. I dont see how they get away with the 6 nuggets price
  29. CyptoHippy's avatar
The food from here lacks any nutritious value, its mostly junk food here with the exception of few items from the menu. You better off make your own burgers with fresh good quality ingredients.

My local KFC and McDs drivthru always seem to be empty, just bikes there. People aren't buying the fries as McCanns fries in air fryer are just as good and you get 10 times the amount with a 1.4kg bag.. which is why the fries promotion this past week. KFC have just gone price crazy whilst serving up half the chicken.. also KFC is suffering because the number of African based food selling authentic takeaway food has exploded where I live (at least 10 new places last 3 months Bexley area).
    Nexy's avatar
The local McDonalds in the surrounding towns and city to me always have people in them when open, any time I've been past, and have cars in the drivethru when available even at daft hours of the morning for the 24hr drivethrus. And when they're busy, they're rammed. "Queues out onto the main road" busy. I can't speak to the KFCs though. I wonder if it's regional?

I am thinking of re installing the app just for these offers as I found their prices not worth for the quantity of food you get. Hardly fill one up but their app is seriously misbehaving on my phone when it installed. All sort of problems i.e starting up on own even when disabled. Etc ..
    ashyt16turbo's avatar
Never had an issue with the app.
