About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Our local dealership advised today that the annual autumn discount of 25% will be available from early November until 10th December. This will apply to the Audi all-in policy (for cars 3-6 years old and under 100,000 miles) and fixed priced service plans on 3-15 year old cars (prices differ depending on <2 and >2 litre engines).

This is for Audi cars but is likely to be applicable to all-in policies also available for VW cars, VW commercials, Skoda and Seat for cars aged 3-6 years, under 2.0l and under 100,000 miles. There’s also no qualifying health check required and the policy can be added online as long as you do not have an active service plan or warranty of any sort.

The offer includes two services (oil and inspection but not brake fluid changes), two MOTs, two year warranty and breakdown patrol with the AA (which also includes Audi assistance, which is a great service if you ever need it). It’s also good news that timing belt changes are now 140,000kms without a time limit (previously 5 years) applied (although one to still be careful about).

We’ve had all-in on our vehicles (3 policies in total) and it’s been a great benefit, particularly given we’ve had our first work required on a six year old car that has been otherwise trouble-free. The claim process was taken care of by the dealership with zero fuss and has saved us in excess of a grand.

if your current all-in or service policy is nearing renewal but after the discount offer ends on 10th Dec, you can contact VWFS and ask for a price to buy out the policy. There’s also usually two promos per year if you can wait. We did this on one car and took out two more years on the eve of the car being 7 years old - so a warrantied vehicle until the end of year 8 is a bonus.

We’ve also been able to keep our diesel on the long life service regime meaning the service interval is 2 years or 20,000.

I appreciate from past threads of this nature there will be a brilliant gag about indicators, a reference to ‘stealers’, somebody pointing out that the price used to be cheaper, a Kia driver comparing their 30 year warranty when the car has long evaporated, somebody saying that a salesperson from a BMW dealer said the warranty will never pay out, a comment about reliability from somebody who once saw an AA patrol helping an Audi driver on the motorway and somebody disgruntled about the price saying do it yourself or it’s cheaper to get my mate backstreet Dave to do it…

But if you want full dealer service history, interest free monthly payments (I always hated paying for services in full), a bit of peace of mind and most things taken care of potentially until the end of year eight, it might just come in handy and the forthcoming price is better than the usually acceptable price before discount…

My local SEAT garage said the warranty aspect was so full of exclusions as to not be worth the paper it was printed on!

Given my major service and MOT tomorrow is £299, probably just about cover that, with advantage of paying over time instead of a lump sum. Then again, my SEAT is now 7 years old, so not sure what product I’d be offered?

    * just checked - not worth it even at £20/month for me given what little is included in the servicing * (edited)

Not very reassuring to hear the dealership sharing that… this year we’ve had two claims with zero issues (an exhaust sensor replaced and a costly steering issue fixed). No hassle whatsoever but if it was anything that could be easily argued as wear and tear, I can see why this could be a challenge.

I think you will be in fixed price servicing territory now - so approx £16 a month for two years if under 2 litres (covering two services). Could be coupled with an AA policy with breakdown repair cover added (5 claims of up to £535 per claim with a £35 excess) which should take care of any nasty surprises (and up to £120 Quidco on new AA policies too).

It’s always a gamble but I’ve quite liked having some peace of mind and the ability to spread the cost at no extra charge. (edited)

Great - now you'll only be ripped off by 75% instead of 100%

Genuinely curious to which part you’d consider to be a rip off?

    The cost of an MOT?
The cost of the breakdown cover?
The proportion set aside for servicing? (I’d agree about the servicing prices if booked individually)
    The interest free monthly payment?
The warranty - which effectively you don’t pay for given the cumulative value of the other elements included?

No issues at all if this isn’t for you… but if you are aware of a better or fairer deal, please share!

Be very very careful with Audi Dealers, dishonest and untrustworthy. Refusing to honour warranty (or low margin, high diagnostic time claims - cherry picking most profitable jobs), not honouring quotes, not doing advertised work, 7 speed DSG a consumable part sadly (when 1 actuator/solenoid fails the rest follow), misrepresenting warranty (ask questions on a new car, then ask same on a used warranty repair). Our two vehicles are looked after by different dealerships owned by the same parent company. Even their service and approach seems different between the two brands (and that’s before VW financial services get involved as the policy owners). These policies seem to have come about due to losing custom since Covid - it’s a shame that a more detailed assessment of the root cause (beyond price) doesn’t appear to have been fulfilled.

Took this out near enough 2 years back on our A4. It's been fantastic value. We've had great service from Wakefield Audi and needed to use the warranty a few times. Each time things were covered, probably saved us £2k. Also had to use the Audi Assist who again were great. Ideally the car never needs such things but that's not how life works. £24 a month has been a great buy for us.

Thanks OP, I believe this does represent good value so I will be going ahead with it as I need an MOT next month.

I currently have RAC Platinum plus warranty which was provided with my second hand Audi Q5. In less than a year it has had glow plugs, pre-sense camera, coolant leak onto timing belt and brake pressure sensor all replaced. That’s in excess of £2k repairs. To me just the warranty part of what VWFS are offering is worth a small price of £25 per month. (edited)

For a 7 year old Audi Q5 with mileage of 26k, it costed me £386. Last time I signed this 2 years back it costed me £375..so a really good deal

I know this is an old thread. But since it’s usually twice. Yearly this offer can anyone let me know when this is likely to be on again. Audi goes in for its last service on the current plan tomorrow. I’ll wait off taking another plan out if it’s likely to be within the next 6 months. Thanks

It used to be twice around July I waited last year for it as my warranty ended within 10 days of the December deal expiring and unfortunately it never came back. It’s very likely just a once a year thing now along with the price increase we see on this deal.

It's shame Audis over 2 litres pay more but don't get the warranty part.

If ever there was a conflict of interest, surely it has to be servicing for an out of warranty vehicle by a main dealer.

On that basis, it’s a good job all-in includes a warranty! I’ve personally never had any issues on this front and recognise that our dealership may be one of the better ones.

But I understand what you are saying. It’s inevitable that you will see an advisory here or there for something long-term, although in my experience independents do that too.

I also read something on a forum from a former main dealer mechanic who said they replaced serviceable parts on customer vehicles and re-used them on their used cars for sale. I suppose you could call it resourceful if being generous…

Sadly no option for the sporty models else I’d be all over it 😔

Includes 'S's up to 2 litre.

Why not, if one owns a 5 -7 year old car, and looking to exchange for an Audi, pop along to showroom and find out which vehicles on their list, already have a Service Plan..

If Audi recommended an oil service every 24 months, how can you make the most of the 2 oil service’s?
    A13's avatar
Oil change every 12 months. Oil change with inspection every 24 month. Basically 1 minor and 1 major service over 2 years covered by this plan.

Not sure how your getting this price

just the email for my wife’s car

Audi A3 cab says 2 years fixed servicing £386

Use the link… if your car is over 3 years old, it should come up with the pricing.

We just took out the 2 year service option on our 1year old Audi Q2 last week end of October price was £476 or £19.86 per month - not sure if that’s the 25% off price or if I’m paying their normal price, otherwise I assume I could cancel in a cooling off period and then take it out again. Can anyone confirm as I can’t see the prices now I’ve taken it out. (edited)

Hello friends. I have a 2015 Audi TT. I am new to Audi. Would you recommend this deal?

Also, given servicing tracked is online / tracker in the app - will the app tell me when I need to service or do I need to manually schedule.

    Thankyou.

If you plan to keep servicing within the dealer network the fixed price servicing plan is the best price you’ll get it for right now (unfortunately all-in is for vehicles under 6 years old). You’ll also have the dash warning as your service interval gets closer.
  17. PapasMagic's avatar
Does the pricing include mot warranty and aa cover?
I put my Reg in and it only gave me the option of service.
