About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Our local dealership advised today that the annual autumn discount of 25% will be available from early November until 10th December. This will apply to the Audi all-in policy (for cars 3-6 years old and under 100,000 miles) and fixed priced service plans on 3-15 year old cars (prices differ depending on <2 and >2 litre engines).
This is for Audi cars but is likely to be applicable to all-in policies also available for VW cars, VW commercials, Skoda and Seat for cars aged 3-6 years, under 2.0l and under 100,000 miles. There’s also no qualifying health check required and the policy can be added online as long as you do not have an active service plan or warranty of any sort.
The offer includes two services (oil and inspection but not brake fluid changes), two MOTs, two year warranty and breakdown patrol with the AA (which also includes Audi assistance, which is a great service if you ever need it). It’s also good news that timing belt changes are now 140,000kms without a time limit (previously 5 years) applied (although one to still be careful about).
We’ve had all-in on our vehicles (3 policies in total) and it’s been a great benefit, particularly given we’ve had our first work required on a six year old car that has been otherwise trouble-free. The claim process was taken care of by the dealership with zero fuss and has saved us in excess of a grand.
if your current all-in or service policy is nearing renewal but after the discount offer ends on 10th Dec, you can contact VWFS and ask for a price to buy out the policy. There’s also usually two promos per year if you can wait. We did this on one car and took out two more years on the eve of the car being 7 years old - so a warrantied vehicle until the end of year 8 is a bonus.
We’ve also been able to keep our diesel on the long life service regime meaning the service interval is 2 years or 20,000.
I appreciate from past threads of this nature there will be a brilliant gag about indicators, a reference to ‘stealers’, somebody pointing out that the price used to be cheaper, a Kia driver comparing their 30 year warranty when the car has long evaporated, somebody saying that a salesperson from a BMW dealer said the warranty will never pay out, a comment about reliability from somebody who once saw an AA patrol helping an Audi driver on the motorway and somebody disgruntled about the price saying do it yourself or it’s cheaper to get my mate backstreet Dave to do it…
But if you want full dealer service history, interest free monthly payments (I always hated paying for services in full), a bit of peace of mind and most things taken care of potentially until the end of year eight, it might just come in handy and the forthcoming price is better than the usually acceptable price before discount…

sorted byGiven my major service and MOT tomorrow is £299, probably just about cover that, with advantage of paying over time instead of a lump sum. Then again, my SEAT is now 7 years old, so not sure what product I’d be offered?
* just checked - not worth it even at £20/month for me given what little is included in the servicing * (edited)
I think you will be in fixed price servicing territory now - so approx £16 a month for two years if under 2 litres (covering two services). Could be coupled with an AA policy with breakdown repair cover added (5 claims of up to £535 per claim with a £35 excess) which should take care of any nasty surprises (and up to £120 Quidco on new AA policies too).
It’s always a gamble but I’ve quite liked having some peace of mind and the ability to spread the cost at no extra charge. (edited)
The cost of an MOT?
The cost of the breakdown cover?
The proportion set aside for servicing? (I’d agree about the servicing prices if booked individually)
The interest free monthly payment?
The warranty - which effectively you don’t pay for given the cumulative value of the other elements included?
No issues at all if this isn’t for you… but if you are aware of a better or fairer deal, please share!
I currently have RAC Platinum plus warranty which was provided with my second hand Audi Q5. In less than a year it has had glow plugs, pre-sense camera, coolant leak onto timing belt and brake pressure sensor all replaced. That’s in excess of £2k repairs. To me just the warranty part of what VWFS are offering is worth a small price of £25 per month. (edited)
I got it.. deal starts from 1st Nov. Hope my question will asnwer some of them :-) (edited)
But I understand what you are saying. It’s inevitable that you will see an advisory here or there for something long-term, although in my experience independents do that too.
I also read something on a forum from a former main dealer mechanic who said they replaced serviceable parts on customer vehicles and re-used them on their used cars for sale. I suppose you could call it resourceful if being generous…
just the email for my wife’s car
Audi A3 cab says 2 years fixed servicing £386
Also, given servicing tracked is online / tracker in the app - will the app tell me when I need to service or do I need to manually schedule.
Thankyou.
I put my Reg in and it only gave me the option of service.
