I’ve had one of these for years. Go camping every year with the family (2 adults + 2 kids).
The tent is really easy to put together due to the colour coding poles. And the height means you can stand anywhere in the tent.
Really good and durable tent at a really good price. Good find OP

As you’ve had one for years I just want your opinion on water resistance. Have you had any issues with being used in the rain as us brits get plenty of it. And condensation inside. (edited)

What a cancerous website.. doesn't allow you to even view the item without signing up...
    solsurf's avatar
Because the manufacturer has agreements with the distributor that doesn't allow them to undercut retailers. By making it a free "sign up club" it ciecumnavigates that legal agreement.

As you can see people mostly have very positive feedback for the website including me.

Great price for this tent . I had one years ago and cost around £400 then . Used it for family holidays 2 adults and 2 kids , yes it's great having the head room when standing up..plenty room inside . Only negative was it did get a bit colder than other conventional tents due to one large space and the height , therfore harder to heat up but I only used in the North West and North East corners of Scotland in Summer which can be like camping in the artic circle at times . Wear a wee wooly jumper and you'll be fine

52314412-6ISKM.jpg52314412-EVynZ.jpgFirst one looks pretty awesome! But very "cosy" with eight... Great price though, almost tempted even though I don't need it.

Got this for £169 last February and thought it was a steal at that price!!

Amazing deal. I have one for my bunga bunga parties, which now is looking a bit worn so will get another as replacement.

Fantastic price for an excellent tent - Being able to stand up in it is just great.

Was on the fence but read some good ideas that people use this as a gazebo/sun shade in their garden and that is a good secondary use when not used as a tent.

Thank you, I bought one. It said fewer than five left when I checked out.
    MrAwesome21's avatar
Same for me said less than 5 now it’s out of stock and didn’t complete the order

Had this one for years. We took it to Isle of Skye last year and poles bent and broke because of the wind. It was so dangerous… Definitely not what you need for UK weather

Do these have windows or is it just mesh? Are the windows on the outer layer?
    CasualShopper91's avatar
Mesh on the inner layer , outer layer has openings that align to where the mesh windows are. These openings you can open and shut with zips
  12. KC30's avatar
    Cold, no central heating.

Just saying. It probably gets cold.

I'll close zip on my way out.

Awesome. Bought. Been looking for a good price for a spacious tent. The orange top will be very cheerful for the mornings - maybe as a substitute for warmth when leaving the sleeping bag.

Mine arrived more than three weeks before it was expected date. Said end of March, already had it for about a week . Set it up to view and my two sons love it.

They do some great deals as long as the timelines work for you, as they're often a bit on the long side. This is showing an ETA of the end of March, so probably before most folks would want to use it anyway!

Deffo! Their delivery times are pretty accurate. They have a lot of items marked ready for dispatch, I’ve gotten some stuff literally the next day before. While some are with their suppliers and can take up to a month if you don’t mind the wait

Great price, used it many times with our family. Love the spacious design. You can also take off outer sheet and have a wonderful fly net. We slept without outer one night to see the stars, but woke up wet after condensation started dripping down the poles. Too tired to do anything about it so used outer as a make shift duvet. Only gripe is extendable porches are way more expensive than tent!

On the fence with this one as I'm not sure if it's big enough for my family of 4 but for 8 it would be ridiculous.

What is the difference between this, and the other Coleman Octagon models? All seem to be priced differently
    Pedro88's avatar
Colour? Also I think there is smaller 5 person version.

Ordered, the checkout process took me good 5 minutes.
