sorted byThe included package only includes the basic £4.99 Netflix package with adverts! So essentially your paying sky £26 for there basic tv pack despite the fact that you are also paying for delivery of service (internet).
They do a credit check even for the 31 days rolling plan. Send their equipment back after 30 days.
Want to add sport? £25. Want films? £12. Want more sport? £28. Got children? Have some channels for them, £5. Got 20/20 vision? Use it. UHD / 4K - £6. No time for ads? Skip them. £5. Skip those adds and use that 20/20 vision on your Netflix too. £11. Why not watch all this on another tv in the house. £11. Well you’re going to need some internet access with all that: £43. Be at the forefront of technology, have WiFi 6: £6.50. Now you have all this, why not get some smart home tech insurance: £43.29.
Perfect. Now you’ve got your package, remember you own nothing, it’s all our equipment and we can supply this to you to borrow for only £224.79 per month / £2697.48 per year. Brilliant
There's two options when checking out. One says 18 month contract and the other is 31 day rolling - opting 31 days, so this isn't an actual contract, no credit check and just billed each month like a Lebara SIM only deal?
Connect to our existing virgin media WiFi then channels are streamed?
After 30 days, do we send their box back?
Their site says 31 days notice to cancel, so do we have to give notice straight away if we strictly wanna do just the trial month? And is that like just logging into my account and cancel sub (Amazon, Disney style).
You might get lucky and it might go through on their systems as 2 months free trial. (I know I said TLDR, sorry).
03337591346 call this number to cancel
And it's all working with our virgin net 250 down.
Just an update, fyi,
Ordered the 31 days rolling thing Friday 3am. They ask for credit/debit card or direct debit - they do a credit check/identity check on this. I just picked debit card. I had a confirmation email advising Tuesday delivery but it arrived today (Saturday) via DPD.
Set up is hdmi cable, power cable, remote, WiFi or ethernet. There's an aerial input but it's not in use.
Just connect, follow on screen instructions, everything's connected. It's Freeview, sky channels but not the sports channels, it's a real good offering. Plus netflix free with ads.
It's 31 days rolling but it's free trial month and it's 31 days notice to cancel. I've set it up, called sky, they would put the cancellation notice in now so it would be cancelled on 30 days from today (April) thus avoiding any charges. They then send out packaging. And there shouldn't be any charges.
However, homie started saying the actual trial month on their end is 2 months and I can see it on their sky app too. I'm gonna give it a few days to see if it updates. If it is two months, I'll call from beginning April, give notice and set the cancellation beginning of May. (edited)
