Probably the most disgusting "snack" ever created by mankind.

Used to love these as a kid but they recently cracked a tooth that had to be removed. Iv been scarred for life now. Still give heat for the price as they are nice when they are not over baked and like a stone.
  5. Going_Digital's avatar
Another lame company that has a heavily discounted item that you can only order one of and requires a minimum spend making it a non-deal.

This really should be written as get this for £3 when spending £22.50.

You cannot buy this for £3 and pay for delivery or buy multiples of it to get the minimum spend, so you are forced to buy loads of other stuff that is not particularly good value. Such offers are deliberately designed to game sites like Hot UK Deals into featuring the fake offer.

I've been caught out by this vendor too many times. I'd often go in with the 'Lucky dip', a few deep bargains, but the rest is retail price to make up the minimum order.

I more often than not, didn't get the lucky box, and some other things and it was just a pain to sort out because they don't do it, you have to chase it up with them. That was too regularly my experience, years apart.

I love these. I believe they have the exact same amount of real Scampi in them as the 'breaded scampi' you can buy from the supermarkets nowadays. Zilch!
    tma32's avatar
True! And tastes much better. Very moreish, I used to have an addiction to these

is there a half dressed young femaled on the card?
    Gollywood's avatar
    Wasn't it a nothing-dressed female?

Even with the £3 delivery discount it costs £9 to deliver to Northern Ireland.

The advert for these got banned, back in the day, if I recall correctly. Made me laugh

Love these but I can't have milk (whey) ... the pain is real.
    Spiritjambo's avatar
I'm sorry for your loss. I'll eat a few packets in honour of you. (edited)

Nice price but sadly its now very hard to find other bargains so you can make up the min order. Approved food used to be better.
    bayhabourbutcher's avatar
yes last time I looked companies like clearanceXL were a lot cheaper

approved foods starting increasing their prices a few years back when they became more widely known

Ive stopped using them all now as most of what they sell is highly processed stuff & not very healthy

still useful if you are looking for non food items or pet food though (edited)

These deals should come with a list of bargains to meet the min spend.

If only "Smiths Cheese Moments" came back -- they were f*ing awesome!
  15. shauntendo's avatar
Love these, but love Cheese Moments more. Whatever happened to them
    DomPW's avatar
They still exist... But remain bottom of popularity list behind these evil fish poops and bacon fries
  16. jkd's avatar
these are nice but the bacon ones are amazing.

One year we gave our teenage son a mixed Scampi and Bacon carded advent . He loved it.!

Absolutely love these & Bacon Fries. I buy them from B&M @ £1.65 a pack of 6 (3 of each) and buy 6 packs each time

So much cheaper than this deal

Good luck finding anything else worthwhile buying unless you fancy out of date crisps at 50p a bag or a can of beans at 8.99

Can I eat 180 bags before they expire

  24. Eldini's avatar
Love these but they're impossible to find without the bacon flavour mixed in, which I've gone off of

Farm Foods has the Openshaw Scampi and lemon crisps, think they're 5 or 6 bags for £1

Eat too many in one go and fear the chemical burn in your mouth. Or is that just me?
    Spiritjambo's avatar
Same here! I was going to say the exact same thing in an earlier post, but then thought it might just be me.
Ate 4 packs in a row one time and the roof of my mouth was peeling & burn't (edited)

To be truly remembered, tip the contents of a few scrunched bags into the company's air conditioning ducts on your last day. Or blow the contents into the air vents of someone's car.
  33. silencesanctuary's avatar
These lemon and scampi fries are genuinely the best of the best of British cuisine. My friends in France love them.
